About the Company
Neve Jewels is a luxury retail group with a strong presence across diamond and jewellery brands, focused on creating premium customer experiences through beautifully designed stores and high-quality service. The business operates in the retail sector from its London headquarters and serves customers through a portfolio of branded websites and retail experiences. This role supports the company’s vision to celebrate every life’s unique stories by shaping the physical environments where customers discover, compare, and purchase fine jewellery. The Project Manager will help translate brand standards into store spaces that are elegant, consistent, and operationally ready. Success in this role means delivering locations that reflect the brand, protect budget and timeline discipline, and support smooth openings across the retail estate.
About the Role
This role owns the delivery of luxury retail store design, construction, renovation, and fit-out projects from concept through handover. The focus is on turning brand direction into stores that are delivered on time, on budget, and to the quality standards expected in a premium jewellery environment. The Project Manager will coordinate designers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, while keeping tight control of cost, compliance, and execution risk. The role is accountable for store opening readiness, defect minimisation, and consistent execution across locations. It suits someone who can balance design sensitivity with disciplined project control, and who understands how physical retail environments influence customer experience, operational readiness, and brand perception.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end retail store projects, including new openings, renovations, and refurbishments, so each location is delivered to the approved standard and timeline.
- Translate management and creative direction into executable store plans, ensuring design decisions protect brand identity, customer experience, and luxury retail expectations.
- Coordinate architects, interior designers, contractors, suppliers, and mall management to keep workstreams aligned and remove delivery bottlenecks before they affect launch dates.
- Own project plans, budgets, schedules, and procurement activity, using clear controls to keep spend, timing, and scope within approved limits.
- Monitor construction progress through site visits, quality checks, and issue tracking, ensuring defects, delays, and workmanship risks are identified early and resolved fast.
- Manage quotations, purchase orders, documentation, permits, and approvals, so projects remain audit-ready, compliant, and operationally ready for handover.
- Source and oversee materials, fixtures, lighting, showcases, furniture, and finishes suitable for a high-end jewellery environment, without compromising quality or consistency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage supplier performance to improve value while maintaining the premium standards expected across all retail locations.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Proven retail store project management experience across fit-out, construction, renovation, or luxury retail delivery, with the judgement to manage complex retail environments and opening deadlines.
- Strong understanding of store design, materials, lighting, customer flow, and visual merchandising, with the ability to make practical decisions that support both brand and operations.
- Excellent budgeting, procurement, cost control, and vendor management skills, including the ability to compare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and track variations accurately.
- Ability to interpret floor plans, technical drawings, and design concepts, then convert them into clear actions for contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and leadership skills, with the confidence to manage multiple projects across locations while keeping priorities visible and controlled.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools, or equivalent software, to maintain project visibility, reporting, and execution discipline.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, especially when coordinating designers, contractors, mall teams, and internal functions under pressure.
- Willingness to travel for site supervision and project checks, ensuring execution quality is maintained wherever the work is taking place.
Additional Plus
- Experience in jewellery, fashion, premium retail, or luxury brands is a strong advantage because it shortens the learning curve on brand standards and customer expectations.
- A strong aesthetic sense and passion for architecture or design will help the role protect store presentation and finish quality across every location.
- Familiarity with construction compliance, permits, and health & safety requirements will support smoother delivery and fewer avoidable delays.
What You'll Bring
- You bring a track record of delivering retail fit-out or construction projects with strong control over time, budget, and quality, especially where brand presentation is critical.
- You know how to manage multiple stakeholders, align decisions quickly, and keep momentum across design, procurement, construction, and opening readiness.
- You combine commercial discipline with a high-quality eye, so the finished space supports customer experience without creating unnecessary cost or delay.
- You work calmly under pressure, solve problems early, and keep teams focused on outcomes rather than activity.
Why Join Us
Join a business where the retail environment is a core part of the customer experience, not just a backdrop to the product. In this role, you will shape how luxury jewellery is presented, experienced, and launched across stores that must reflect both brand values and commercial discipline. You will work with creative, operational, and technical teams to deliver spaces that feel elegant, consistent, and ready for trading. The role offers the chance to influence visible brand outcomes, improve project delivery standards, and contribute directly to customer-facing growth. If you enjoy balancing design quality, construction control, and premium retail execution, this is a role where your work will be seen in every finished store.
