About the Company

Ultratech is a company focused on building reliable operations with strong environmental responsibility. The organization values safe, compliant, and efficient execution across its business, with a practical approach to sustainability and site-level performance. It expects leaders and specialists to help translate environmental standards into day-to-day discipline, measurable compliance, and steady improvement. The environment here is hands-on and outcome-driven, with a focus on protecting operations, reducing risk, and supporting long-term business continuity. This role sits in a setting where environmental stewardship is not treated as a side activity, but as a core part of how the business operates and grows.

About the Role

The Senior Environmental Executive owns environmental execution at the site or business level and ensures requirements are translated into consistent practice. The role is responsible for maintaining compliance, strengthening control systems, and helping the organization meet its environmental obligations without disrupting operational performance. It requires close coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep standards current, actions closed, and risks visible. The right person will balance technical understanding with strong follow-through, turning regulatory and operational expectations into reliable outcomes. This is a role for someone who can manage both the detail and the discipline needed to keep environmental performance stable, credible, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day environmental compliance tracking and close the gaps that could expose the business to regulatory, operational, or reputational risk.
  • Prepare Form-1, Pre-Feasibility Reports, and Terms of Reference submissions for EAC or SEAC review, ensuring documentation is complete and aligned to approval requirements.
  • Draft, review, and finalize EIA reports so they meet legal standards and reflect accurate baseline conditions, impact analysis, and mitigation commitments.
  • Coordinate baseline data collection across air, water, noise, soil, ecology, and land use by working with labs, site teams, and inspection stakeholders.
  • Develop Environmental Management Plans that reduce construction and operational impacts and convert environmental commitments into practical controls.
  • Facilitate public consultations and coordinate with pollution control boards to address queries, manage PH-related coordination, and resolve community concerns professionally.
  • Maintain environmental records, inspections, and reporting systems so leadership has clear visibility into compliance status, approvals, and outstanding actions.
  • Support audits, inspections, and assessments by preparing evidence, closing findings, and keeping corrective actions on track.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong understanding of environmental compliance, statutory requirements, EIA processes, and approval workflows, with the ability to apply them in a practical operating environment.
  • Working knowledge of Form-1, PFR, ToR, EAC, SEAC, and related reporting requirements, along with the documentation discipline needed for legal review.
  • Ability to analyze baseline environmental data across air, water, noise, soil, ecology, and land use, then turn findings into sound mitigation and reporting decisions.
  • Experience coordinating with labs, consultants, site teams, and authorities so data collection, submissions, and follow-ups move forward without delays.
  • Comfort with environmental management planning, stakeholder engagement, public consultation, and issue resolution in a regulated setting.
  • Strong attention to detail in documentation, evidence management, and report finalization so compliance status remains reliable and auditable.
  • Proficiency with standard office tools and reporting formats used to manage compliance data, action logs, and management updates.

Additional Plus

  • Prior exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments where environmental discipline is tied closely to daily execution.
  • Experience supporting audits, statutory inspections, or regulator interactions in a hands-on operational setting.
  • Familiarity with sustainability programs, waste management, emissions control, or other site environmental improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

  • You bring hands-on ownership of environmental outcomes, not just monitoring, with the discipline to close actions and keep standards stable.
  • You work well across operations, consultants, and authorities, turning compliance requirements into practical execution that people can follow.
  • You stay calm under audit, inspection, or consultation pressure and can keep evidence, actions, and communication organized.
  • You have the judgment to spot risk early, escalate clearly, and help the business avoid repeat environmental issues.
