About the Role: As Store Manager, you will lead a high-performing store team to deliver an outstanding customer journey and consistent

commercial

performance.

You

are

accountable

for

delivering

store

results

against

core

KPIs

and

for

maintaining

strong

operational

control

and

compliance.

This

is

a

hands-on

leadership

role,

with

approximately

90%

of

time

spent

on

the

sales

floor

coaching,

role-modelling

and

elevating

standards.

How you’ll contribute in this role: Commercial Performance

  • Lead the store to achieve sales, profitability and commercial objectives.

  • Drive conversion, average transaction value and overall sales performance through effective leadership and coaching.

  • Monitor commercial performance, identify opportunities and implement action plans to maximise results.

  • Manage labour, stock and operational costs to support profitable growth. Customer Experience

  • Create a consistently exceptional customer experience that drives loyalty and advocacy.

  • Ensure every customer journey reflects the highest standards of service.

  • Encourage customer feedback and use insights to continuously improve performance.

  • Champion positive online reviews and customer engagement. Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, develop and retain a high-performing team.

  • Create a culture where employees thrive, develop and grow.

  • Provide regular coaching, feedback and performance reviews to help colleagues reach their full potential.

  • Identify and develop future talent through succession planning.

  • Ensure all team members complete required learning and development activities. Retail Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain excellent operational standards across all areas of the store.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, GDPR, finance and regulatory requirements.

  • Proactively manage stock integrity, order management and operational processes.

  • Prepare for and deliver successful internal audits and store visits. Business Communication & Execution

  • Take ownership of agreed business actions, ensuring they are delivered within required timescales.

  • Identify operational risks and challenges, escalating where appropriate with clear recommendations.

  • Maintain accurate store records and ensure all required systems are kept up to date.

  • Build strong relationships with regional leadership and support functions to drive continuous improvement.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Substantial experience managing a retail store or leading a high-performing retail team - working in luxury/premium

retail

environments,

including

jewellery,

fashion,

beauty

and/or

hospitality.

  • A strong track record of delivering commercial results and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confidence in managing operational standards, compliance and risk.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience using retail systems and performance reporting tools would be advantageous.
