About the Role

The Application Executive develops, validates, and optimizes analytical applications and product enhancements for analytical instruments. The role owns application performance, repeatability, reproducibility, validation, and process standardization through structured testing and quality evaluation. It investigates application-related issues, supports root cause analysis and corrective actions, and validates new product features and upgrades against functional, quality, and customer requirements. The role also develops and maintains SOPs, work instructions, validation reports, technical reports, application documents, and testing records. Working with Research & Development, Quality, Production, Service, and Product Management teams, the incumbent supports product evaluations, troubleshooting, customer demonstrations, internal technical training, and continuous product improvement. Success is measured through improved product quality, analytical accuracy, reliability, process effectiveness, documentation control, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and optimize product components and application methods through structured testing to improve analytical performance, precision, repeatability, reproducibility, and ease of use.
• Identify product improvement opportunities using testing results, customer feedback, and internal quality data, then support corrective actions and measurable performance enhancements.
• Investigate application-related issues and contribute to root cause analysis, corrective actions, and validation activities that restore reliable product performance.
• Conduct repeatability and reproducibility studies, optimize analytical parameters, and analyze quality data to improve measurement accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Support new product development, product upgrades, prototype evaluation, and application feature validation to ensure functional, quality, and customer requirements are met before release.
• Develop, validate, and standardize application and calibration processes while driving continuous improvement in product quality, operational efficiency, and process effectiveness.
• Prepare and maintain controlled SOPs, work instructions, validation reports, technical reports, application documents, testing records, and process improvement records for relevant stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• Analytical application development and optimization for analytical instruments, including analytical parameter optimization, application methods, and calibration processes.
• Product validation, repeatability and reproducibility studies, structured testing, performance evaluation, and quality data analysis.
• Application-related troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and validation of product improvements against defined standards.
• Technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, validation reports, technical reports, application documents, and controlled testing records.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Research & Development, Quality, Production, Service, and Product Management teams.

Additional Plus

• Experience supporting new product development, product upgrades, prototype evaluation, or application feature validation.
• Experience providing technical support during product evaluations, troubleshooting, customer demonstrations, or internal technical training.
• Familiarity with quality standards, operational procedures, corrective and preventive improvements, and documentation control.

What You'll Bring

• A Master of Science in Physics or Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry, with 1–3 years of relevant experience in analytical applications, product validation, application methods, or analytical instruments.
• The ability to develop, validate, and optimize application methods and product components through structured testing, performance evaluation, and quality data analysis.
• Practical capability in conducting repeatability and reproducibility studies, improving analytical parameters, and supporting measurement accuracy, product consistency, and reliable performance.
• Experience investigating application-related issues and contributing to root cause analysis, corrective actions, and validation of product improvements against defined quality and performance standards.
• The ability to support new product development, product enhancements, prototype evaluation, and feature validation against functional, quality, and customer requirements.
• Strong documentation skills for preparing and maintaining SOPs, work instructions, validation reports, technical reports, application documents, and testing records.
• A collaborative working style for partnering with Research & Development, Quality, Production, Service, and Product Management teams on product development, issue resolution, technical support, and continuous improvement.
• The ability to share application knowledge and best practices through technical training while maintaining compliance with internal quality standards and applicable industry requirements.
