About the Role

The Quant Researcher will own the research process that turns data, market signals, and statistical evidence into actionable insights for the firm. The role is focused on building robust analytical frameworks, testing ideas rigorously, and improving the quality of decisions across the business. Success in this role comes from producing research that is credible, repeatable, and tied to real business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end quantitative research workflow, from problem framing to model validation, so the firm can make decisions based on evidence rather than intuition.
• Build and test statistical models, research frameworks, and analytical methods that improve forecasting quality, signal identification, and decision confidence.
• Translate complex data patterns into clear recommendations for stakeholders, ensuring research outputs are usable by business and leadership teams.
• Partner with relevant internal teams to define research priorities, align on hypotheses, and ensure outputs support broader business objectives.
• Evaluate model performance, challenge assumptions, and continuously refine approaches so research remains accurate, practical, and commercially useful.
• Document methods, findings, and limitations clearly so results can be reviewed, reproduced, and scaled across future work.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• Strong command of statistics, probability, and quantitative analysis, with the ability to design research that holds up under scrutiny.
• Hands-on experience building models, evaluating outcomes, and using data to support decisions in a high-accountability environment.
• Proficiency with analytical tools and programming languages commonly used in research workflows, with enough fluency to move from idea to tested output quickly.
• Ability to simplify technical findings for non-technical stakeholders without losing analytical rigor or decision relevance.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the discipline to challenge assumptions, identify gaps, and improve the quality of conclusions.
• Comfort working with large or complex datasets and turning them into insights that drive measurable business impact.

Additional Plus

• Experience in finance, markets, trading, or other high-stakes analytical environments is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to production-grade research pipelines or model deployment workflows will be valued.
• Familiarity with machine learning methods that improve predictive or classification performance can strengthen your profile.
