About the Company

Timeless Group of Companies is a Dubai-based organization focused on building enduring businesses, products, and customer experiences across its portfolio. We value thoughtful design, commercial discipline, and consistent execution over short-term trends. Our teams work across functions to turn ideas into products that are relevant, manufacturable, and trusted by customers. The company encourages ownership, practical problem-solving, and collaboration between creative, commercial, sourcing, and operations stakeholders. In this role, you will contribute to a growing product organization where design decisions influence collection direction, customer appeal, quality, and business performance. You will work with colleagues who expect designers to connect visual thinking with market understanding, technical feasibility, cost awareness, and delivery timelines. The successful candidate will have room to shape product outcomes while operating in a structured, hands-on environment. We are looking for someone who can bring fresh footwear perspectives, communicate clearly, and take accountability from initial concept through final production-ready design.

About the Role

The Footwear Designer will own the development of commercially relevant footwear concepts from early research through production-ready execution. You will translate customer, market, and brand inputs into coherent designs that strengthen the collection and support revenue, margin, quality, and launch objectives. The role combines creative direction with technical understanding, material selection, construction awareness, and disciplined product documentation. You will partner with merchandising, sourcing, production, and suppliers to validate feasibility, improve samples, and resolve issues before they affect delivery. Your work will be visible in seasonal collections, line plans, product specifications, and final approved styles. The right candidate can move comfortably between inspiration and detail, balancing originality with customer appeal, target costs, manufacturing realities, and brand consistency. You will be accountable for design quality and timely decisions across multiple styles and development milestones. This position suits a designer who enjoys ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and seeing ideas become finished products in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own footwear concepts and seasonal design directions, using customer insight, market research, and brand requirements to build collections with clear commercial relevance and differentiated product appeal.
  • Develop sketches, mood boards, color stories, material proposals, and design presentations that communicate the intended product architecture, styling, and collection-level visual language.
  • Create accurate technical specifications and product documentation, ensuring construction details, materials, colors, trims, measurements, and finishing requirements are clear for suppliers and production teams.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to align designs with target customer, price architecture, margin expectations, supplier capabilities, and planned delivery milestones.
  • Review prototypes, samples, and fit iterations, identifying design or quality gaps and driving actionable corrections before approval and production handover.
  • Manage multiple footwear styles and development timelines through organized tracking, timely decisions, and proactive escalation of risks affecting quality, cost, or launch readiness.
  • Build effective relationships with factories and material vendors, communicating design intent clearly while finding practical solutions that protect aesthetics, performance, manufacturability, and commercial outcomes.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong footwear design capability across concept development, trend interpretation, color and material selection, construction awareness, and collection building for commercial product environments.
  • Proficiency with design and presentation tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and relevant digital sketching or footwear development software; strong technical drawing ability is essential.
  • Practical understanding of footwear materials, components, manufacturing processes, sampling, fit, quality standards, costing considerations, and supplier communication from concept through production.

Additional Plus

  • Experience designing across multiple footwear categories, including casual, lifestyle, athletic, formal, children’s, or fashion-led products, with a portfolio demonstrating range and commercially successful thinking.
  • Familiarity with footwear development platforms, PLM systems, technical packs, factory sampling processes, and structured seasonal calendars would support faster execution and stronger cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience working with international suppliers, multicultural teams, or Middle East and emerging-market customer preferences would be valuable in shaping locally relevant and scalable collections.

What You'll Bring

You will bring a strong footwear portfolio and the ability to explain the customer and commercial thinking behind your design decisions. You can turn broad direction into clear, visually compelling concepts and then carry those concepts through materials, construction, sampling, refinement, and production handover. You understand that successful design is not only distinctive; it must also fit the customer, meet quality expectations, respect target costs, and arrive on time. You are comfortable working with merchandising, sourcing, production, suppliers, and senior stakeholders, adapting your approach without losing the core design intent. You communicate clearly through sketches, presentations, technical details, and concise feedback. You organize your workload across several styles and milestones, identify risks early, and follow issues through to resolution. You bring curiosity about footwear, materials, trends, and customer behavior, alongside sound judgment about what can be manufactured and sold. Above all, you take ownership of outcomes, welcome constructive challenge, and consistently convert creative ideas into polished, production-ready products.

Why Join Us

  • Shape footwear collections from concept to market within a Dubai-based organization where design decisions directly influence customer relevance, product quality, commercial performance, and long-term brand value.
  • Work closely with creative, commercial, sourcing, production, and supplier partners, gaining broad ownership across the complete footwear development lifecycle rather than contributing only at the concept stage.
  • Join a hands-on team that values clear thinking, dependable execution, practical experimentation, and designers who connect creativity with measurable product and business outcomes.

What We Offer

  • A meaningful design ownership opportunity with visibility across collection strategy, product development, sampling, supplier collaboration, and final production outcomes.
  • An onsite Dubai working environment that supports regular collaboration with cross-functional teams, faster feedback cycles, and direct exposure to commercial and operational decision-making.
  • The opportunity to develop products for a growing organization while strengthening expertise across footwear categories, materials, manufacturing, customer insight, and end-to-end product execution.
