About the Company
Binding Minds is a talent solutions organization helping businesses build stronger teams through executive search, recruitment, and leadership hiring. We combine market understanding, structured evaluation, and relationship-led execution to connect organizations with people who can create durable business value. Our work spans senior appointments and critical hiring mandates where quality, speed, discretion, and stakeholder alignment matter. The operations function enables this promise by creating repeatable systems across delivery, candidate experience, client coordination, reporting, and internal execution. We are building a disciplined, scalable operating environment in which teams can move quickly without compromising accuracy or trust. This role will help strengthen the operating backbone behind a people-focused business, translating goals into clear workflows, measurable standards, and reliable outcomes across the hiring lifecycle.
About the Role
The Senior Manager, Operations will own the systems and operating cadence that make delivery predictable, efficient, and scalable. You will translate business priorities into workflows, metrics, governance, and team practices that improve execution across recruitment operations. The role partners closely with leadership and client-facing teams to identify constraints, resolve escalations, and strengthen accountability. Success means higher productivity, cleaner reporting, faster turnaround, stronger candidate and client experiences, and a more reliable platform for growth. You will lead through influence and structured management, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term process design. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can move between strategy, data, people management, and day-to-day execution without losing sight of business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the operating model for recruitment delivery, translating business priorities into workflows, service standards, ownership structures, and measurable outcomes across teams and mandates.
- Build and manage dashboards covering productivity, turnaround time, quality, pipeline health, capacity, and stakeholder satisfaction, using insights to drive timely corrective action.
- Lead process improvement initiatives that remove bottlenecks, reduce rework, improve handoffs, and create consistent execution across sourcing, evaluation, coordination, and closure.
- Establish governance rhythms including reviews, escalation paths, performance discussions, and decision logs, ensuring risks are surfaced early and resolved with clear accountability.
- Partner with leadership and client-facing teams to align capacity, priorities, and service commitments, protecting delivery quality while responding to changing business requirements.
- Coach operations teams and managers through clear expectations, capability development, performance management, and recognition of behaviors that improve reliability and customer outcomes.
- Evaluate and improve technology usage, data hygiene, documentation, and reporting practices so operational information supports faster decisions and more predictable execution.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong operations leadership across process design, workforce planning, performance management, governance, and continuous improvement, with demonstrated ownership of measurable business outcomes.
- Advanced analytical and reporting capability using spreadsheets, dashboards, CRM or ATS platforms, and operational metrics to diagnose issues and guide prioritization.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, manage ambiguity, and convert complex requirements into practical execution.
Additional Plus
- Experience in recruitment, executive search, staffing, professional services, or another relationship-led business with high service and confidentiality expectations.
- Familiarity with workflow automation, CRM or ATS optimization, data governance, and change management across growing teams.
- Exposure to multi-location operations, client delivery governance, or scaling processes during periods of rapid organizational growth.
What You'll Bring
You bring 8–12 years of experience leading operations, delivery, business processes, or service organizations where execution quality and stakeholder trust directly influence growth. You are comfortable owning a number, a workflow, or an operating system—and you know how to connect all three to business impact. You use data to create clarity, but you also understand the human behaviors required to change performance. You can diagnose root causes, simplify processes, establish practical controls, and hold teams accountable without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. You communicate crisply with senior leaders and work constructively with client-facing teams, recruiters, support functions, and technology partners. You bring sound judgment in sensitive situations, particularly where confidentiality, prioritization, or service recovery is involved. You are energized by building structure in a growing environment, moving between strategic design and hands-on execution. Most importantly, you take ownership of outcomes: predictable delivery, stronger productivity, better experiences, and an operating culture that improves with every cycle.
