About the Company
Binding Minds is a certified Diversity-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE) delivering inclusive workforce solutions for organizations building stronger, more representative teams. We combine centralized recruiting expertise, practical delivery discipline, and multi-industry staffing knowledge to help clients access capable talent and improve hiring outcomes. Our work is especially relevant to organizations modernizing how they build, operate, and scale technology teams. In this role, you will join a recruitment and workforce solutions environment that values structured execution, equitable access, and measurable business impact. The company supports clients through coordinated recruiting processes rather than fragmented, transactional hiring. That operating model creates an opportunity for a product leader to shape tools and experiences that improve decision quality, accelerate delivery, and strengthen trust across financial technology stakeholders. The role will help translate market needs into a focused product direction for an AI-enabled fintech platform while preserving responsible, inclusive, and user-centered practices.
About the Role
The Product Manager will own product direction for an AI-enabled fintech platform, connecting customer problems, business priorities, technology capabilities, and responsible AI requirements into a coherent roadmap. You will lead discovery, define measurable outcomes, and convert validated needs into products that improve financial workflows, decision quality, and user trust. Success means creating a focused operating system for product development: clear priorities, disciplined trade-offs, useful insights, and predictable delivery. You will work closely with engineering, data science, design, compliance, operations, and commercial stakeholders in Mumbai. The role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong judgment in regulated environments, and the ability to make complex technology understandable. You will be accountable for adoption, customer value, platform reliability, and measurable business impact rather than feature volume alone.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the fintech AI platform, translating customer and market evidence into priorities that improve adoption, revenue potential, and financial workflow outcomes.
- Lead structured discovery with users, financial services stakeholders, operations teams, and internal partners, using research and product analytics to identify high-value problems and reduce delivery risk.
- Define requirements, success metrics, and release outcomes with engineering, design, and data science, creating shared accountability for quality, usability, reliability, and measurable customer value.
- Establish responsible AI product practices covering explainability, human oversight, data quality, privacy, and risk controls, strengthening user trust and supporting compliance in financial technology contexts.
- Manage the product lifecycle from opportunity assessment through launch and iteration, using experimentation, feedback, and performance data to improve activation, retention, efficiency, and business results.
- Align commercial, operations, compliance, and technology stakeholders through clear decisions, prioritization forums, and communication, preventing conflicting commitments and maintaining momentum across the roadmap.
- Build a durable product operating rhythm through documentation, customer insight repositories, roadmap reviews, and post-launch learning, enabling faster decisions and more consistent execution across teams.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- 5–8 years of product management experience delivering digital, platform, fintech, SaaS, or AI-enabled products with ownership of strategy, discovery, prioritization, and measurable outcomes.
- JavaScript proficiency is mandatory, with the ability to collaborate credibly with engineering teams, understand application behavior, evaluate technical trade-offs, and translate product needs into actionable requirements.
- Strong supply chain management proficiency, including planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, fulfillment, supplier coordination, and the operational metrics that shape cost, service, and resilience.
- Strong understanding of financial services workflows, risk considerations, data products, APIs, analytics, and the practical constraints of building technology for regulated or trust-sensitive environments.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with engineering, design, data science, compliance, and commercial teams while communicating complex product decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with product discovery, roadmapping, experimentation, user research, analytics, agile delivery, and outcome-based prioritization across multiple customer or business needs.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, including model performance, data quality, explainability, human-in-the-loop design, and responsible deployment practices.
Additional Plus
- Experience launching AI products or intelligent automation in lending, payments, banking, insurance, wealth, risk, or adjacent financial services domains.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, API ecosystems, workflow automation, data governance, or enterprise platform products with complex integrations and multiple user groups.
- Experience working in a scaling organization where product processes, metrics, governance, and cross-functional operating rhythms are still being strengthened.
What You'll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, combined with 5–8 years of progressively responsible product management experience.
- Strong customer empathy and structured problem-solving, with the ability to turn ambiguous financial or operational problems into clear hypotheses, product choices, and measurable outcomes.
- Product judgment grounded in evidence: you know when to investigate further, when to simplify, and when to make a timely trade-off despite incomplete information.
- Confidence working across engineering, data science, design, compliance, operations, sales, and leadership, creating alignment without relying on formal authority.
- Practical understanding of AI product risks and opportunities, including data limitations, model behavior, user trust, explainability, privacy, and human oversight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to create decision-ready narratives, concise requirements, clear roadmaps, and credible updates for varied audiences.
- An ownership mindset focused on customer value and business impact, with the resilience to learn from launches, challenge assumptions, and improve the product operating system over time.
Why Join Us
You will have the opportunity to shape an AI-enabled fintech platform at a point where product choices can materially influence customer trust, operational efficiency, and commercial scale. The role offers meaningful ownership across strategy, discovery, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement rather than responsibility for an isolated feature area. You will work at the intersection of financial services, artificial intelligence, supply chain management, and inclusive workforce practices, solving problems that require both technical curiosity and sound judgment. The company’s centralized recruiting and delivery model provides a structured environment for collaboration while exposing you to varied stakeholder needs and business contexts. Your work will help turn complex technology into dependable user outcomes, with responsible AI and measurable value embedded into product decisions. This is a strong fit for a product leader who enjoys building clarity from ambiguity, improving how teams operate, and creating products that earn trust in high-consequence environments. You will also help strengthen product discipline as the platform evolves, leaving behind better systems, sharper metrics, and more repeatable ways of working.
What We Offer

- An inclusive, diversity-owned business environment that values structured collaboration, equitable opportunity, and practical workforce solutions across industries.
