About the Role

The Head of HR will own the people agenda for the Gurugram location, with accountability for talent acquisition, employee relations, and talent management. The role is designed for a senior HR leader who can align hiring strategy with business needs, strengthen manager capability, and build an employee experience that supports retention and performance. Success in this role comes from creating consistent HR systems, solving people issues quickly, and ensuring the organization has the right talent in the right roles. The position requires a balance of strategic judgment and hands-on execution, with direct impact on workforce quality, engagement, and organizational stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full HR agenda for the location, translating business needs into practical people plans that improve hiring quality, employee stability, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Lead talent acquisition strategy and execution, ensuring critical roles are filled with speed, rigor, and alignment to business priorities.
  • Manage employee relations cases with sound judgment, timely intervention, and consistent policy application to reduce risk and maintain trust.
  • Build and run talent management processes that strengthen performance, succession readiness, and manager capability across teams.
  • Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, org design, and people decisions so the HR function supports growth rather than reacting to issues.
  • Strengthen HR operating discipline through clear processes, reporting, and follow-through that improve accountability and decision quality.
  • Shape a people culture that reinforces engagement, inclusivity, and retention while supporting a professional and high-performance environment.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Deep experience in HR leadership across talent acquisition, employee relations, and talent management, with the judgment to balance policy, business needs, and employee outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence leaders, coach managers, and resolve sensitive people issues without losing speed or credibility.
  • Practical knowledge of HR processes, employee lifecycle management, performance management, and workforce planning in a fast-moving organization.
  • Ability to use HR data and reporting to spot patterns, improve decision-making, and measure the impact of people initiatives.
  • Familiarity with employment practices, compliance basics, and location-level HR governance needed to keep the organization aligned and protected.
  • Clear communication and problem-solving skills that help turn complex people challenges into workable, consistent actions.
  • Comfort operating in a hands-on leadership role where strategy, execution, and escalation management all sit with the same person.

Additional Plus

  • Experience in multi-industry or high-growth hiring environments where speed, adaptability, and service quality matter.
  • Exposure to inclusive hiring or disability-inclusive workforce practices is helpful in this environment.
  • Prior ownership of HR at a site, location, or business-unit level will be an advantage.

What You'll Bring

  • A track record of owning HR outcomes rather than only processes, with evidence of improving hiring, engagement, and retention.
  • Strong business partnership skills that help leaders make better people decisions and handle sensitive issues with consistency.
  • The ability to build trust quickly across teams while maintaining high standards on performance, policy, and accountability.
  • A practical, calm operating style that can handle ambiguity, pressure, and competing priorities without losing execution quality.
