About the Company
Our company is building a high-accountability environment where important priorities move from insight to execution quickly. The organization values clear thinking, ownership, practical problem-solving, and close collaboration across functions. Teams are expected to use data, structured communication, and disciplined follow-through to improve business performance. The Founder’s Office works across the company, giving team members exposure to strategic questions, operating decisions, and initiatives that directly influence growth and execution. This is an opportunity to work close to senior leadership while learning how a business is evaluated, prioritized, and scaled. The role suits someone who is curious, organized, commercially aware, and comfortable moving between analysis and action. You will be expected to handle sensitive information responsibly, communicate with precision, and bring momentum to work that may not always have a predefined playbook. The company offers a setting where strong performers can build broad business judgment through meaningful ownership and cross-functional exposure.
About the Role
The Founder’s Office Associate will support the founder on strategic and operational priorities that require structured thinking and dependable execution. You will turn open-ended questions into clear analyses, recommendations, and action plans, then help drive those plans across teams. The role combines business research, performance tracking, project coordination, and executive communication. Success means helping the founder make better decisions faster while ensuring important initiatives maintain momentum after decisions are made. You will work with multiple stakeholders, synthesize information from different sources, and highlight risks, trade-offs, and opportunities. This is an early-career role with broad exposure and a steep learning curve. It is best suited to someone who takes ownership, learns quickly, communicates clearly, and remains effective when priorities change.
Key Responsibilities
- Own research and analysis for founder-led decisions, using market information, internal data, and structured problem-solving to produce concise recommendations with clear commercial or operational implications.
- Track strategic initiatives from decision to completion, maintaining owners, milestones, dependencies, and risks so cross-functional work converts into measurable business progress.
- Build concise reports, dashboards, and executive updates that surface performance trends, important deviations, and the decisions required from the founder or leadership team.
- Coordinate with functional teams to resolve blockers, clarify priorities, and follow through on commitments, improving execution discipline across high-priority initiatives.
- Support business reviews, planning cycles, and special projects by preparing agendas, synthesizing inputs, documenting decisions, and ensuring agreed actions are completed.
- Investigate operational or growth questions independently, combining qualitative context and quantitative analysis to identify root causes and practical interventions.
- Manage sensitive information and founder communications with discretion, accuracy, and strong attention to detail across changing priorities.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous questions, work with spreadsheets, and translate data into practical recommendations.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including concise executive updates, presentation materials, meeting notes, and stakeholder follow-ups that drive aligned action.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and presentation tools; familiarity with dashboards, project trackers, and productivity tools is expected.
Additional Plus
- Exposure to consulting, investment banking, business operations, startups, entrepreneurship, or a fast-paced cross-functional environment is advantageous.
- Experience building basic financial models, market maps, operating dashboards, or business cases can help you contribute more quickly.
- Familiarity with SQL, business intelligence tools, or automation workflows is useful but not required.
What You'll Bring
You will bring intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and the discipline to move work forward without needing constant direction. You can break a broad question into manageable parts, identify the information required, and produce an answer that is clear enough to support a decision. You are comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, written material, and multiple stakeholders. You communicate directly, listen carefully, and adapt your level of detail to the audience. You follow through on commitments, raise risks early, and stay organized when several priorities compete for attention. You are willing to take on work outside a narrow job description because you understand that the Founder’s Office exists to solve important problems, not simply complete predefined tasks. You handle confidential information responsibly and bring sound judgment to situations where context may be incomplete. Most importantly, you have a bias toward ownership: you do not stop at identifying an issue, but help define the next step, align the right people, and track the outcome. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field will support the analytical and commercial demands of the role.
