About the Company
We are a growth-oriented organization building a capable, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. Our teams work collaboratively to deliver reliable outcomes for customers while continuously improving how we operate. People are central to that progress, and the Human Resources function helps create the systems, support, and standards that enable employees to do their best work. We value ownership, responsiveness, integrity, and practical problem-solving. As part of the HR team, you will work closely with employees, managers, and business leaders across the organization. You will gain broad exposure to core people processes, contribute to a positive employee experience, and help maintain accurate, dependable HR operations. This role is designed for a motivated early-career professional who wants to learn quickly, take responsibility, and build a strong foundation in human resources while contributing measurable value to the organization.
About the Role
As a Human Resources Associate, you will support core people operations across the employee lifecycle. You will help maintain accurate employee data, coordinate recruitment and onboarding, respond to employee queries, and keep HR processes timely and consistent. The role provides practical exposure to HR administration, engagement, compliance support, and reporting. You will work with recruiters, managers, finance, and employees through HR systems, shared trackers, documentation, and clear communication. Your work will improve employee experience, reduce process delays, and give leaders dependable information for people decisions. This is an entry-level opportunity for a fresher who is organized, approachable, willing to learn, and ready to own tasks from completion through follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, and recruitment documentation through the applicant tracking process, helping hiring teams move candidates efficiently and deliver a professional experience.
- Prepare onboarding checklists, collect joining documents, and coordinate access and orientation with relevant teams, ensuring new employees are ready to contribute on time.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR trackers, and digital documentation through approved systems, protecting data quality, confidentiality, and audit readiness across the employee lifecycle.
- Respond to routine employee questions and route complex matters to the appropriate HR or business owner, improving response times and ensuring issues receive clear follow-through.
- Support attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and benefits administration by validating information and escalating discrepancies early, reducing avoidable errors and improving monthly operational reliability.
- Assist with employee engagement activities, internal communications, and feedback collection, helping the organization strengthen connection, participation, and employee experience.
- Prepare recurring HR reports and dashboards from validated data, giving managers visibility into hiring, onboarding, attendance, and people-process status for timely decisions.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Understanding of recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave, and basic HR operations, with the judgment to protect confidential information and follow documented processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organization, follow-up, and attention to detail, enabling accurate execution while building helpful relationships with candidates, employees, and managers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and comfort learning HRIS, applicant tracking, collaboration, and documentation tools used to manage people processes.
Additional Plus
- Internship, academic project, volunteering, or part-time exposure involving recruitment, employee engagement, administration, customer support, or data management will help demonstrate practical readiness.
- Familiarity with basic employment documentation, workplace policies, or HR reporting concepts is useful, though structured learning and coaching will be provided.
- Exposure to dashboards, spreadsheets, survey tools, or workflow automation can help improve reporting accuracy and simplify recurring HR processes.
What You'll Bring
You bring curiosity, reliability, and a genuine interest in helping people and teams work effectively. As a fresher, you do not need extensive work experience; you do need the discipline to learn processes, ask thoughtful questions, and complete commitments accurately. You communicate clearly, listen respectfully, and treat employee and candidate information with confidentiality. You are comfortable organizing multiple tasks, maintaining trackers, checking details, and following up until work is closed. You can use spreadsheets and common workplace tools, learn new HR systems quickly, and explain information in a simple, professional way. You take feedback positively and apply it to improve your output. You recognize when an issue needs escalation rather than making assumptions, and you understand that dependable HR operations are built through consistency, empathy, and careful execution. A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field will support your foundation. Above all, you bring ownership, integrity, and the motivation to grow into a capable HR professional while creating a positive experience for every person you support.
