- Partner across business teams to turn workforce needs into practical people processes, clear communication, and measurable service outcomes.
About the Role
As HR Manager, you will own the people systems that help Binding Minds attract, support, and retain a high-performing workforce. You will translate business priorities into consistent HR practices across employee lifecycle management, hiring support, performance, engagement, compliance, and reporting. The role combines hands-on execution with operational improvement: you will establish dependable processes, improve manager capability, resolve employee matters fairly, and surface workforce insights for leadership decisions. Success means employees receive a consistent experience, managers have the tools to lead effectively, and the organization can scale without losing accountability or culture. You will work closely with leadership and functional teams in a hybrid environment, balancing employee advocacy with business needs and maintaining high standards of confidentiality, compliance, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the employee lifecycle from onboarding through separation, using standardized HR workflows and documentation to improve employee experience, compliance, and operational consistency.
- Manage recruitment coordination and workforce planning with hiring managers, ensuring roles are filled efficiently and aligned with business capacity, quality, and diversity objectives.
- Establish performance and engagement mechanisms, using manager feedback, employee insights, and measurable people data to improve retention, productivity, and accountability.
- Handle employee relations matters through fair, timely, and confidential processes, reducing avoidable risk while strengthening trust between employees, managers, and leadership.
- Maintain HR policies, statutory records, and compliance controls, using accurate documentation and periodic reviews to protect the organization and support responsible growth.
- Build people reports and dashboards that give leadership visibility into headcount, hiring, attrition, attendance, and workforce trends for better planning and decisions.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong command of HR operations, employee relations, recruitment coordination, performance management, engagement, and policy administration, with the judgment to balance people needs and business outcomes.
- Working knowledge of Indian employment practices, statutory compliance, payroll coordination, HR documentation, and confidentiality requirements across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience using HRIS, applicant tracking systems, payroll platforms, and reporting tools to create reliable records, automate workflows, and convert people data into actionable insight.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coach managers, resolve sensitive issues, and build credibility across varied stakeholder groups.
- Structured problem-solving and process improvement capability, demonstrated by simplifying HR operations, strengthening controls, and delivering consistent service in a growing organization.
Additional Plus
- Experience in recruitment, staffing, RPO, executive search, or another talent services environment where client delivery and workforce quality are closely connected.
- Exposure to diversity, equity, inclusion, supplier diversity, or inclusive hiring programs that improve access to opportunity and strengthen employer credibility.
- Familiarity with HR analytics, engagement surveys, competency frameworks, or change management initiatives; free coffee is also available as an everyday workplace amenity.
What You'll Bring
You will bring practical HR leadership grounded in sound judgment, strong execution, and respect for the employee experience. You can move comfortably between strategic conversations and detailed operational work, translating business priorities into processes that managers and employees can use consistently. You understand that effective HR is measured through outcomes: stronger hiring, healthier retention, faster issue resolution, compliant operations, and better leadership decisions. You communicate with clarity, protect confidentiality, and approach employee relations with fairness and empathy. You are comfortable working with data, systems, policies, and people at the same time, and you look for ways to make each of them more effective. You will also bring the confidence to challenge ineffective practices constructively, the discipline to follow through, and the adaptability required in a multi-industry workforce solutions business. Most importantly, you will help build a workplace where inclusion, accountability, and service quality reinforce one another.
