About the Role
As Talent Acquisition Lead, you will own the talent acquisition agenda for assigned business functions and translate workforce plans into predictable hiring outcomes. You will lead end-to-end recruitment delivery, strengthen sourcing channels, improve selection quality, and build trusted partnerships with business and HR leaders. The role will use hiring data, market intelligence, structured assessment, and process governance to improve time-to-fill, candidate quality, offer conversion, and onboarding readiness. You will also help shape employer positioning and talent pipelines for critical and future capabilities across a global mobility organization. Success means enabling leaders to hire the right people at the right pace while creating a consistent, credible candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own recruitment plans for assigned functions by translating workforce demand into role prioritization, sourcing strategy, delivery milestones, and measurable hiring outcomes.
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle from intake and market mapping through assessment, offer closure, and onboarding handoff, ensuring quality and predictable execution.
- Build talent pipelines for critical roles through direct sourcing, referrals, agencies, professional networks, campuses, and targeted market engagement.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to define success profiles, improve interview discipline, and increase selection quality and decision speed.
- Monitor recruitment dashboards covering time-to-fill, funnel conversion, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, diversity, and candidate experience to drive corrective action.
- Strengthen employer value proposition and talent communications so candidates understand the organization’s mobility mission, culture, opportunities, and expectations.
- Govern recruitment vendors and external partners through clear service levels, quality standards, cost controls, and regular performance reviews.
- Coach recruiters and stakeholders on structured hiring practices, market insights, compliance, and consistent candidate engagement across the hiring process.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong expertise in end-to-end talent acquisition, stakeholder management, executive and specialist hiring, workforce planning, and recruitment operations within a complex organization.
- Demonstrated ability to build sourcing strategies for engineering, manufacturing, product, sales, corporate, and emerging electric-mobility capabilities across competitive talent markets.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruitment analytics, sourcing platforms, interview frameworks, and reporting tools used to manage funnel performance and hiring governance.
- Strong understanding of employer branding, candidate experience, assessment quality, offer negotiation, diversity hiring, recruitment compliance, and vendor management.
- Clear communication, influencing, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders and distributed stakeholder groups.
Additional Plus
- Experience hiring for automotive, mobility, manufacturing, engineering, electric vehicles, or other technology-led industrial businesses is advantageous.
- Exposure to international or multi-location recruitment programs and the ability to adapt talent strategies across different markets will be valuable.
- Experience implementing recruitment process improvements, analytics-led operating rhythms, or new talent technology platforms is a plus.
What You'll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, supported by 8–12 years of progressive talent acquisition experience and demonstrated ownership of complex hiring portfolios.
- Evidence of delivering measurable improvements in hiring speed, quality, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, candidate experience, or recruitment cost through disciplined operating mechanisms.
- Strong commercial understanding of how talent decisions affect business growth, manufacturing continuity, engineering capacity, product delivery, and organizational performance.
- The judgment to balance urgent hiring needs with long-term pipeline development, while maintaining structured assessment, inclusive practices, compliance, and a credible candidate experience.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders, coach hiring teams, lead recruiters or partners, and turn ambiguous workforce needs into clear, actionable recruitment plans.
