About the Company

testing_2 is a small, banking-focused company headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, with a team of approximately 1–10 people and annual revenue under $1 million. The organization is building its presence in the banking industry while developing practical, people-centered ways to grow responsibly. Its stated vision is “as das,” reflecting an early-stage environment where individuals can help shape how the company operates, hires, and serves its market. The company maintains an online presence through thehirehub.ai and operates in a setting where every hiring decision can influence culture, capability, and business momentum. Joining this team means working closely with leaders and colleagues rather than navigating multiple layers of process. The organization values people who can turn thoughtful ideas into consistent systems, improve decision quality, and create a workplace where varied perspectives contribute to stronger outcomes. This is an opportunity to help establish inclusive hiring practices that support sustainable growth across the business.

About the Role

As an Inclusive Hiring Specialist, you will own the systems and standards that make recruitment more equitable, accessible, and evidence-based. You will partner with hiring managers to define fair selection criteria, improve candidate experience, and reduce avoidable bias across the hiring journey. Your work will connect inclusive talent practices with business outcomes: stronger candidate quality, broader access to opportunity, better hiring decisions, and a more resilient workforce. You will use recruiting data, structured processes, stakeholder coaching, and continuous improvement to embed inclusion into everyday hiring rather than treating it as a standalone initiative. Success means hiring teams consistently apply inclusive practices, candidates experience a transparent process, and the organization builds capability without compromising rigor or speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own inclusive hiring standards across sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, using structured criteria and documented decision systems to improve fairness, consistency, and quality of hiring outcomes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, distinguish essential capabilities from preferences, and create accessible processes that expand qualified talent without lowering performance expectations.
  • Build and maintain diverse sourcing channels through community partnerships, targeted outreach, and talent mapping, improving access to underrepresented candidates for priority roles.
  • Train and coach interviewers on structured interviewing, bias interruption, reasonable adjustments, and evidence-based assessment, strengthening decision quality across the hiring team.
  • Monitor funnel data by stage and candidate segment, identify drop-off or disparity patterns, and translate findings into practical process changes with measurable impact.
  • Own candidate experience improvements by making communication, scheduling, assessments, and feedback clearer and more accessible, supporting trust and stronger employer reputation.
  • Maintain compliant, auditable hiring documentation and collaborate with people leaders to embed inclusive practices into workforce planning and recruiting operations.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Demonstrated expertise in inclusive recruitment, diversity hiring, equitable talent practices, and candidate experience, with the judgment to balance fairness, accessibility, rigor, and business priorities.
  • Strong capability in structured interviewing, competency-based assessment, sourcing strategy, stakeholder coaching, and interviewer enablement, translating principles into repeatable hiring systems.
  • Experience analyzing recruitment funnel metrics and demographic trends using applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, dashboards, or people analytics tools to identify barriers and improve outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility practices, bias-aware selection, employment equity principles, and responsible handling of sensitive candidate or workforce information.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence hiring managers, facilitate practical training, and explain data-driven recommendations to varied audiences.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruiting platforms, collaboration tools, and documentation systems used to coordinate and measure hiring processes.

Additional Plus

  • Experience designing inclusive hiring programs within a scaling startup, banking organization, financial services environment, or other regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, inclusive employer branding, employee resource groups, community talent partnerships, or return-to-work and nontraditional talent programs.
  • Experience establishing recruiting governance, audit practices, or dashboards that connect inclusion measures with quality, speed, retention, and workforce planning outcomes.

What You'll Bring

  • Four to seven years of experience in talent acquisition, inclusive hiring, diversity recruiting, people programs, or a closely related field, with evidence of improving hiring systems rather than only managing requisitions.
  • A practical understanding of how bias can enter job design, sourcing, assessment, interviewing, and selection, together with the confidence to challenge inconsistent practices constructively.
  • Strong stakeholder ownership and influencing skills; you can coach busy hiring managers, align competing priorities, and turn inclusion goals into clear standards that teams actually use.
  • Analytical discipline and sound judgment when working with sensitive data, measuring funnel outcomes, diagnosing barriers, and recommending changes that improve both candidate equity and business performance.

Why Join Us

You will join a small, banking-focused organization where your work can shape hiring practice at the foundation rather than adjusting processes after they are already established. In a team of approximately 1–10 people, your recommendations can move quickly from insight to implementation, with direct visibility into how inclusive hiring affects culture, capability, and growth. The role offers meaningful ownership across the full hiring system: role design, sourcing, assessment, interviewer capability, candidate experience, and measurement. You will work closely with leaders and colleagues, helping create practical standards that make decisions clearer and opportunity more accessible. Bengaluru provides the base for collaboration while the hybrid model supports focused work and connection with the wider team. If you are motivated by turning inclusion from an aspiration into a measurable operating practice, this role gives you the scope to build systems that influence every future hire. You will also contribute within an early-stage environment where thoughtful process design, strong judgment, and visible business impact matter.
