Company Practices & Ways of Working

  • The company appears to use a centralized recruiting and delivery model across contingent and permanent hiring, which suggests an organized, process-led approach to workforce support. That environment suits someone who can bring structure, compliance, and clarity to HR operations.

About the Role

The HR Manager will own the core people agenda for the organization, ensuring HR policies, employee support, and manager guidance translate into a stable and effective workplace. You will be responsible for the systems and routines that keep employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations running smoothly. The role requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to balance employee needs with business priorities. Success means creating a dependable HR function that supports retention, trust, and operational discipline while enabling leaders to manage teams confidently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day HR operations and ensure employee processes are executed consistently, so managers and employees experience a clear and dependable people function.
  • Maintain HR policies, compliance routines, and documentation standards, turning administrative discipline into reduced risk and better governance.
  • Support employee relations issues with sound judgment and confidentiality, helping the business resolve concerns quickly while protecting trust and professionalism.
  • Partner with managers on onboarding, performance, and workforce planning, so people decisions are better aligned with business needs and team productivity.
  • Coordinate HR systems and records with accuracy, ensuring information is reliable enough to support reporting, audits, and timely decisions.
  • Drive engagement and retention initiatives that improve employee experience, strengthen manager effectiveness, and reduce avoidable attrition.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, translating policies and procedures into practical support that keeps the organization running smoothly.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, and compliance practices, with the ability to apply policies in a way that is fair, practical, and business-aware.
  • Sound understanding of onboarding, performance support, and workforce coordination, so people processes improve manager confidence and employee experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR systems, documentation management, and reporting, with enough rigor to keep records accurate and decision-ready.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, enabling clear guidance, respectful conflict handling, and credible support across levels.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality, essential for handling sensitive employee matters and maintaining trust in the HR function.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple HR tasks without losing quality, so service levels stay steady in a fast-moving environment.

Additional Plus

  • Experience supporting a centralized or multi-process HR model, where consistency and operational discipline matter as much as employee service.
  • Familiarity with workforce solutions, staffing, or service-led environments, where the HR function must support both speed and structure.
  • Exposure to employee engagement or culture initiatives that improve retention and help leaders build stronger teams.

What You'll Bring

  • A disciplined, people-first approach to HR management, with the ability to turn policies and routines into a reliable employee experience.
  • Mature judgment in handling employee issues, with the confidence to balance empathy, compliance, and business needs.
  • Strong ownership of HR operations and documentation, ensuring the function stays accurate, responsive, and audit-ready.
  • The ability to partner with leaders and managers in a way that improves team stability, employee trust, and day-to-day execution.
