About the Role
The Engagement Manager owns the end-to-end customer outcome, from shaping client problems into scalable workflows through to driving adoption, renewal readiness, and measurable value. This role sits at the intersection of product, growth, and client delivery, and it requires structured thinking, strong operational hygiene, and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders aligned without surprises. You will translate ambiguity into execution plans, maintain clear governance, and ensure every client relationship is managed with clarity, accountability, and commercial discipline. Success depends on being credible with technical teams, trusted by clients, and rigorous enough to keep delivery moving even as priorities change.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn client problems into scalable, measurable workflows that balance client needs with platform constraints, creating repeatable playbooks, templates, and assets that improve delivery quality.
- Maintain clean operating systems across dashboards, hubs, and documentation so usage, adoption, and health metrics stay accurate, visible, and useful for decision-making.
- Run structured delivery plans with clear owners, dates, and dependencies, while surfacing risks early enough to protect timelines and avoid surprises.
- Lead proactive communication with clients and internal teams by setting agendas, capturing decisions, and publishing action logs that drive accountability and momentum.
- Own the trial, conversion, and renewal motion in partnership with Growth, using adoption data and ROI evidence to move accounts forward with confidence.
- Translate feedback from clients into concrete improvement plans with Engineering and Product, ensuring issues are resolved and learnings are built back into the workflow.
- Apply strong judgment on workflows, data, and failure modes so the client experience remains credible, scalable, and aligned with platform capabilities.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong ability to take ambiguous client asks and convert them into scoped delivery plans with measurable outcomes, balancing urgency, structure, and practical trade-offs.
- Technical fluency across workflows, data, and system behavior, with enough credibility to partner effectively with engineers and product teams.
- Excellent operational discipline, including accurate tracking, reliable documentation, and clean governance across multiple accounts or workstreams.
- High-signal communication style that escalates early, closes loops quickly, and keeps both client and internal stakeholders aligned on decisions and risks.
- Comfort working autonomously in fast-changing environments where priorities shift and timelines may change, without losing control of outcomes.
- Commercial awareness of adoption, ROI, renewal readiness, and the levers that influence client expansion and retention.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across geographies.
Additional Plus
- Background in private equity, investment banking, or tier-1 consultancies, especially where structured problem-solving and client management were core to success.
- Experience supporting enterprise software, AI, or workflow automation products in complex client environments.
- Familiarity with high-growth environments where pace, ambiguity, and cross-functional execution are part of the day-to-day.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in demanding, client-facing environments where you have owned outcomes rather than just tasks.
- A track record of turning unclear problems into structured plans that move clients toward adoption, renewal, and measurable value.
- The judgment to balance platform constraints with client needs while keeping delivery realistic, transparent, and commercially sound.
- A proactive operating style that makes risks visible early and keeps teams aligned through disciplined communication and follow-through.
