About the Role

The Chief Technology Officer will own the enterprise technology strategy, engineering organization, digital transformation agenda, and AI-led innovation roadmap for a complex, client-centric services business. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the CTO will connect technology investment to growth, productivity, quality, resilience, and client outcomes. The role combines strategic influence with technical credibility across Microsoft and Azure technologies, including .NET, C#, VBA, Azure OpenAI, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft PowerPoint integrations. The leader will modernize architecture, scale secure platforms, strengthen governance, and embed practical AI and automation across operations and client services. Success requires translating business-process challenges into scalable solutions while maintaining operational stability, business continuity, and commercial discipline across distributed teams. The CTO will also advise senior leaders and clients, shape technology-enabled differentiation, and build the organizational capabilities required for responsible, measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the enterprise technology roadmap across cloud, applications, architecture, data, cybersecurity, automation, and operations, aligning investment decisions with growth, client requirements, resilience, and measurable business value.
• Lead the AI and automation agenda through Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and related capabilities, moving high-value use cases from experimentation into secure, scalable solutions with defined adoption, productivity, quality, and ROI measures.
• Set the Microsoft and Azure engineering direction across .NET, C#, VBA, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, Microsoft PowerPoint integrations, and enterprise applications, improving scalability, delivery quality, security, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
• Build and lead high-performing engineering, architecture, product technology, data, infrastructure, and support teams, creating accountability, leadership depth, continuous improvement, and capabilities required for the future roadmap.
• Define target-state enterprise architecture and modernization priorities, ensuring interoperability across operational systems, client platforms, APIs, integrations, legacy applications, AI solutions, and infrastructure while protecting reliability and business continuity.
• Partner with BPO, LPO, legal services, commercial, and operations leaders to convert process challenges into improvements in productivity, turnaround time, quality, workforce effectiveness, service differentiation, and client experience.
• Own technology governance, cybersecurity, privacy, AI controls, vendor risk, service management, and performance measurement, ensuring secure operations, effective incident response, disciplined change delivery, and optimized expenditure.
• Serve as a trusted executive and client-facing technology advisor, communicating complex decisions clearly, influencing stakeholders, managing strategic partners, and demonstrating technology impact through business and client outcomes.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• Enterprise technology strategy, operating-model design, architecture governance, and transformation leadership across complex, multi-location organizations, connecting technology choices to commercial and operational outcomes.
• Deep Microsoft ecosystem expertise, including .NET, C#, VBA, Microsoft Azure, Azure OpenAI, Azure DevOps or Development Studio, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft PowerPoint integration.
• Proven leadership across cloud modernization, enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, automation, AI or ML adoption, cybersecurity, data governance, resilient architecture, engineering operations, and regulated client environments.

Additional Plus

• Experience serving as CTO, VP Technology, Head of Technology, or equivalent enterprise technology executive in a global, client-centric organization.
• Background in LegalTech, legal services, legal operations, professional services, BPO, LPO, Managed Services, Information Services, or adjacent technology-enabled delivery environments.
• Experience establishing build-versus-buy strategies, managing strategic Microsoft partnerships, and balancing internal engineering capability with external delivery models.
