About the Role

The Chief Technology Officer will own RedDoorz’s technology strategy and translate business priorities into a scalable, secure, and commercially effective platform. This leader will set the direction for engineering, architecture, data, reliability, and technology operations while building the organizational capabilities required for sustained growth. The CTO will partner closely with executive, product, commercial, and operations leaders to improve traveler experiences and property-owner outcomes. Success means technology becomes a dependable growth lever: systems scale across markets, product delivery becomes more disciplined, data supports sharper decisions, and engineering investment produces clear business impact. The role requires strategic judgment, operational accountability, and the ability to lead through complexity across a regional hospitality platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise technology roadmap and investment choices, aligning platform priorities with growth, customer experience, property-owner value, and operational performance across Southeast Asian markets.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering and technology organization, establishing clear ownership, strong leadership succession, and execution standards that improve delivery quality and speed.
• Set architecture and platform direction across core products, integrations, data systems, infrastructure, and reliability capabilities, ensuring the business can scale without accumulating avoidable operational risk.
• Create measurable accountability for availability, security, technical quality, delivery predictability, and cost efficiency through effective engineering metrics, operating rhythms, and governance.
• Partner with product and commercial leaders to convert customer and market needs into technology-enabled improvements in distribution, pricing, marketing, guest acquisition, and property operations.
• Strengthen data foundations and decision systems so leaders can understand marketplace performance, optimize resources, and identify opportunities across brands, properties, and traveler segments.
• Represent technology at the executive level, communicating trade-offs clearly and ensuring major technology decisions support durable business value rather than isolated technical goals.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• Executive technology leadership across multi-market platforms, marketplaces, hospitality technology, consumer products, or operationally complex businesses, with evidence of scaling systems and teams.
• Strong command of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, APIs, distributed systems, cybersecurity, observability, and reliability engineering for customer-facing and business-critical platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to build accountable engineering organizations, develop senior leaders, and establish operating mechanisms that improve quality, velocity, collaboration, and talent retention.
• Commercial and product orientation, with the ability to connect technical roadmaps to customer outcomes, revenue growth, cost efficiency, operational leverage, and market expansion.
• Experience using data platforms, analytics, experimentation, and performance metrics to improve decision quality and prioritize technology investment.
• Clear executive communication and stakeholder leadership, including the ability to explain complex technical risks, choices, and dependencies to non-technical audiences.
• Practical judgment in balancing modernization, delivery commitments, security, reliability, and resource constraints across a growing regional business.

Additional Plus

• Experience in hospitality, travel, online accommodation, marketplaces, property technology, or other businesses coordinating supply, demand, and operational workflows.
• Regional leadership experience across Southeast Asia or similarly diverse markets, including varied customer behaviors, partner requirements, regulatory contexts, and technology adoption levels.
• Background leading technology transformation, platform consolidation, or post-growth operating model improvements while preserving business continuity and customer trust.
