You will design and operate forecasting, scenario planning, and cash management systems to ensure runway, scalability, and investor confidence. Through modern FP&A tools and data-driven dashboards, you will convert business strategy into financial priorities that optimize CAC, LTV, and unit economics while partnering with product and go-to-market leaders to align investments with measurable growth outcomes. You will also lead reporting and compliance across jurisdictions, build scalable finance operations, and represent the company with investors and key stakeholders to secure the resources required for ambitious growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own annual planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling through an integrated FP&A platform to drive clear capital allocation decisions and improve predictability of growth outcomes.
- Lead cash, treasury, and capital strategy through rigorous liquidity management, banking relationships, and fundraising readiness to protect runway and fund strategic initiatives.
- Build and operate scalable finance operations and systems (ERP, payroll, billing) to reduce close cycles and operational friction while improving month-over-month financial visibility.
- Define and track SaaS KPIs (ARR, MRR growth, CAC, LTV, churn) through analytics dashboards to inform pricing, GTM investments, and product ROI decisions.
- Own statutory reporting, compliance, and tax strategy across jurisdictions through robust controls and external advisors to minimize risk and ensure timely filings.
- Partner with the executive team on pricing, commercial contracts, and M&A diligence to translate market opportunities into value-accretive decisions.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Proven leadership of finance functions at high-growth SaaS or platform companies, owning P&L and capital strategy while scaling finance teams and processes.
- Deep expertise in FP&A, financial modeling, and scenario planning using modern analytics and BI tools to convert data into strategic decisions.
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and capital markets to secure growth funding and manage stakeholder communications with clarity and credibility.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS metrics and unit economics, including CAC, LTV, ARR/MRR modeling, and retention analysis to drive sustainable growth.
- Hands-on experience implementing finance systems (ERP, billing, payroll) and cloud-based FP&A/BI stacks to automate reporting and shorten financial close cycles.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills to influence product, GTM, and ops leaders and translate financial levers into business outcomes.
Additional Plus
- Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience at a scaling SaaS or marketplace company, particularly in remote-first, distributed environments.
- CPA, CA, or MBA from a top program and direct experience engaging with institutional investors and boards.
