About the Company
We are a learning and development company that helps organizations and individuals build practical capabilities, improve performance, and create measurable professional impact. Our work sits at the intersection of education, career growth, and business outcomes. We partner with clients and stakeholders to understand capability gaps, shape relevant learning solutions, and deliver experiences that support sustained development. As we expand our fundraising and corporate partnership efforts, we are building a commercially disciplined team that can connect mission-led initiatives with responsible business priorities. The organization values ownership, credibility, long-term relationships, and clear measurement of results. This role will work in a collaborative environment where senior professionals are expected to operate independently, bring market insight, and convert strategic relationships into funded programs. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing business while helping broaden access to meaningful learning and development opportunities through strong corporate engagement and fundraising partnerships.
About the Role
As a CSR Fundraising Sales Specialist, you will own the corporate fundraising and partnership pipeline for learning and development initiatives. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring strong market judgment, executive-level relationship building, and the ability to convert corporate purpose priorities into funded programs. You will identify organizations with relevant CSR objectives, create compelling partnership propositions, and lead conversations through negotiation and closure. The role will connect business development discipline with social-impact credibility, ensuring every opportunity has a clear value proposition, defined funding outcome, and accountable next step. You will operate independently in Mumbai while collaborating with internal stakeholders to shape proposals, validate delivery feasibility, and protect partner trust. Success will be measured through qualified pipeline, fundraising revenue, conversion quality, partner retention, and the tangible reach of funded learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end CSR fundraising pipeline, from target-account selection and outreach through proposal development, negotiation, closure, and renewal. Build predictable funding revenue through disciplined opportunity management.
- Develop senior relationships with CSR heads, corporate foundations, HR leaders, and business executives. Translate organizational priorities into credible learning and development partnership propositions.
- Create account plans and fundraising strategies for priority organizations using market intelligence, stakeholder mapping, and clear qualification criteria. Focus resources on opportunities with strong fit and funding potential.
- Lead commercial discussions, scope alignment, and proposal closure with internal teams. Protect relationship quality while achieving agreed funding targets, timelines, and partnership terms.
- Build a repeatable partner engagement system covering pipeline reviews, CRM hygiene, forecast accuracy, proposal tracking, and post-closure follow-through. Improve visibility and conversion across the fundraising funnel.
- Collaborate with program and delivery teams to ensure funded initiatives are practical, measurable, and aligned with partner expectations. Convert delivery confidence into stronger renewals and referrals.
- Track performance through fundraising revenue, conversion rates, average cycle time, partner retention, and funded learner impact. Use insights to refine targeting, messaging, and sales execution.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- 15+ years in enterprise sales, CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, philanthropy, or consultative business development, with evidence of independently closing complex, high-value relationships.
- Strong understanding of CSR decision-making, corporate foundations, funding cycles, stakeholder governance, and the ability to position learning initiatives against business and social-impact priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales reporting systems, pipeline forecasting, account planning, proposal tools, and productivity platforms. Comfortable using data to prioritize opportunities and improve conversion.
Additional Plus
- Existing relationships with CSR leaders, corporate foundations, philanthropy teams, or senior HR and business stakeholders across Mumbai and India would accelerate market access and partnership development.
- Experience selling or fundraising for education, skilling, employability, learning, or social-impact programs would strengthen proposition credibility and improve alignment with the company’s domain.
- Proven success building a fundraising motion or entering a new corporate partnership market would be valuable. Exposure to impact measurement and CSR compliance processes is an advantage.
What You'll Bring
You will bring senior-level commercial maturity, strong executive presence, and the independence required to own a fundraising mandate as an individual contributor. You should be comfortable opening doors, building trust with senior stakeholders, and converting broad CSR priorities into specific, fundable learning and development programs. Your experience should demonstrate more than relationship management: you will show how you built qualified pipelines, influenced decision-makers, negotiated commitments, and delivered measurable revenue or funding outcomes. You will bring a consultative approach that balances corporate objectives, social impact, delivery feasibility, and long-term partner value. Strong written and verbal communication will help you create persuasive proposals and lead structured conversations with credibility. You will be organized in managing multiple accounts, accurate in forecasting, and persistent through long sales cycles. The role also requires commercial ethics, sound judgment, and the ability to work across internal teams without relying on direct reports. Most importantly, you will take ownership of outcomes, use evidence to improve execution, and build a durable corporate fundraising engine for the organization.
Why Join Us
- Join a learning and development company where your fundraising work directly enables broader access to capability-building and professional growth opportunities. Your partnerships will connect corporate resources with measurable learning impact.
- Own a visible, high-impact individual contributor mandate with meaningful autonomy. You will shape the fundraising motion, influence senior stakeholders, and see your work reflected in revenue, reach, and partner outcomes.
- Work at the intersection of commercial growth and social impact, collaborating with program and leadership teams to build partnerships that are credible, sustainable, and valuable to participating organizations.
What We Offer
- A senior individual contributor opportunity with ownership of CSR fundraising strategy, pipeline, and corporate partnership outcomes in a growing learning and development business.
- The opportunity to work directly with senior corporate stakeholders and shape a scalable partnership engine. Your contribution will influence both organizational growth and funded learning impact.
- A collaborative, outcome-oriented environment that values autonomy, ethical relationship building, disciplined execution, and measurable results over hierarchy or activity volume alone.
- A Mumbai-based onsite role with scope to apply deep market experience, strengthen the company’s corporate network, and build long-term value through meaningful partnerships.
