Project Manager – Design & Decor
Execution
Location: HQ27, Gurugram, Haryana (Must be Gurgaon-based or ready to relocate immediately)
Reporting To: Head of Projects / Senior Events Lead Employment Type: Full-time
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Project Manager with hands-on experience in event
design
and
decor
execution.
This
role
is
critical
to
the
successful
delivery
of
our
projects,
ensuring
that
every
design
element
is
flawlessly
produced
and
installed
on-site.
The
Project
Manager
will
oversee
the
entire
decor
process—from
concept
development
and
vendor
coordination
to
on-ground
execution—working
closely
with
internal
teams
and
external
partners
to
bring
our
vision
to
life.
Experience
with
leading
event
agencies
such
as
FSIX,
Altair
Event,
A3
(A
cube)
event
design
or
Silhouette
Events
will
be
highly
regarded.
Key responsibilities
- Project Planning & Coordination ● Interpret creative briefs and develop actionable project plans for decor and design execution.

Prepare detailed production schedules, resource lists, and installation timelines for each event.

Coordinate with design, production, and logistics teams to align on project deliverables. 2. Vendor & Material Management

Identify, source, and manage decor vendors, fabricators, and suppliers for all design elements.

Negotiate contracts, manage procurement, and ensure timely delivery of materials and props.

Maintain a decor vendor tracker with up-to-date information on quality, pricing, and reliability.
- Production Oversight ● Supervise fabrication of decor elements, conducting regular quality checks at vendor workshops.
- Organize and lead pre-event production meetings to review progress and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure all production activities adhere to design specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
- On-Site Execution ● Lead on-ground installation and dismantling of decor at event venues. ● Oversee set-up teams, ensuring proper allocation of manpower and resources. ● Address any on-site challenges or last-minute changes swiftly and effectively. 5. Client & Stakeholder Coordination ● Serve as the primary point of contact for decor-related queries from clients and internal teams.
- Attend client meetings and site visits to understand expectations and provide technical input.
- Ensure all deliverables meet client standards and are completed within agreed budgets. 6. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including budgets, vendor contracts, and design
approvals.
- Ensure all decor installations comply with venue regulations and safety requirements.
- Support the sourcing and vetting of new decor vendors and freelancers as needed.
Skills & requirements
- Strong project management skills with a focus on event design and decor execution.
- Creative problem-solving ability and a keen eye for detail.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and production timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management and documentation tools (Excel, Google Sheets, Asana,
Trello,
etc.).
- Familiarity with materials, fabrication techniques, and decor production processes.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing event requirements.
- Willingness to work extended hours during event periods.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent
experience).
- 4–6 years' experience in project management for event design and decor, preferably with top-tier
event
agencies
(e.g.,
FSIX,
Altair
Event,
Silhouette
Events).
- Demonstrated portfolio of successful event decor projects.
- Experience working with premium clients and high-profile events is a plus.

Work Schedule
- Weekly Off: Sunday
- Other Saturdays: Working
- Timings: 9 AM – 7:30 PM Dubai time (standard office hours)
- Note: This role may occasionally require working outside these hours during event builds or
urgent
project
phases.
Any
extra
hours
or
weekend
work
will
be
offset
with
comp
time
or
adjusted
in
the
schedule
as
per
company
policy.
Salary & Emoluments
Total CTC: Approximately 2 lakhs per month (INR) Final package will depend on the candidate's experience with event decor execution, project management
skills,
and
portfolio
quality.
