About the Role

As a Full Stack Engineer on the core product team, you will own product capabilities across the complete application lifecycle, from understanding finance workflows and shaping technical solutions through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will build secure, scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and modern JavaScript or TypeScript. Your work will connect intuitive user experiences with reliable APIs, business logic, databases, and AI-enabled workflow capabilities. You will partner closely with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver outcomes end to end. The role suits an engineer who enjoys building SaaS products, takes ownership of customer-facing capabilities, makes sound technical decisions, and cares deeply about reliability, performance, security, maintainability, and the quality of the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own full-stack features from requirements and architecture through production release, ensuring each capability solves a defined finance workflow problem and creates measurable value for customers.
• Build scalable backend services, REST APIs, and business logic with Java and Spring or Spring Boot, maintaining security, reliability, maintainability, and clear operational ownership.
• Develop responsive interfaces with React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, translating complex financial workflows into intuitive experiences that improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.
• Design database integrations across relational and NoSQL systems, optimize queries and application performance, and protect dependable data access as transaction volumes and workflow complexity grow.
• Establish confidence through clean, reusable, testable code, automated unit and integration tests, code reviews, debugging, monitoring, and disciplined resolution of production issues.
• Collaborate across product, design, QA, and engineering while improving architecture, CI/CD, development standards, tooling, and AI-enabled capabilities used in finance operations.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring or Spring Boot, object-oriented programming, software design principles, REST APIs, web services, and modern application architecture.
• Strong React and modern JavaScript experience, with practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript or frontend development patterns for responsive, maintainable user interfaces.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, Git-based development workflows, automated testing, production debugging, and application integration across full-stack systems.

Additional Plus

• Experience with Spring Security, Hibernate or JPA, microservices, messaging systems, Redux, MongoDB, Redis, or other technologies supporting distributed and scalable applications.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and engineering practices for performance, security, and operational resilience.
• Experience building SaaS products is preferred, along with exposure to fintech, accounting, ERP, payments, financial services, AI or LLM-powered applications, or workflow automation.

• Experience building SaaS products is preferred, particularly where you have helped shape customer-facing capabilities, supported iterative product development, and balanced technical quality with business outcomes.
• Exposure to fintech or related financial workflows is valuable, alongside clear communication, effective collaboration in a hybrid environment, ownership in a fast-moving product team, and curiosity about applying AI to real-world business problems.
