About the Role

The Junior Full Stack Engineer will help ship product features end to end, from user-facing interfaces to backend logic and data handling. This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure to modern software development, close collaboration with experienced teammates, and clear ownership of assigned work. The position requires strong problem-solving, willingness to learn quickly, and the ability to write dependable code that supports product stability and customer needs. Success in this role means contributing to a fast-moving engineering team, reducing delivery friction, and helping turn product requirements into working software with quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own assigned feature work across frontend and backend layers, translating product requirements into working software that improves user experience and supports delivery goals.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teammates to clarify scope, reduce ambiguity, and keep implementation aligned with business priorities and release timelines.
• Write clean, maintainable code and fix defects quickly so the team can protect product reliability and keep development moving without unnecessary rework.
• Support API integration, data flow, and application logic so features work correctly across systems and deliver a seamless end-to-end product experience.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to raise code quality, reduce regressions, and strengthen the team’s overall engineering standards.
• Learn the existing architecture and contribute improvements that make the codebase easier to understand, extend, and support as the product grows.
• Take ownership of smaller tasks independently while escalating risks early, so delivery stays predictable and teammates can rely on you.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• Strong foundational knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to build user interfaces that are functional, responsive, and aligned with product requirements.
• Working understanding of frontend and backend development concepts, including APIs, application state, and data handling, so you can contribute across the stack effectively.
• Familiarity with at least one modern web framework or library and one backend environment, with enough depth to deliver small features and troubleshoot issues confidently.
• Basic understanding of version control, debugging, and testing practices so you can work safely in a team codebase and support consistent delivery.
• Ability to write readable, structured code and learn new tools quickly, which helps you adapt to changing priorities and evolving technical standards.
• Good communication skills and the habit of asking clear questions, so work stays coordinated and blockers are surfaced early.
• Curiosity, discipline, and a willingness to accept feedback, which are essential for growing in a role where quality and pace both matter.

Additional Plus

• Experience with React, Node.js, or a similar modern full stack environment would help you contribute faster and reduce onboarding time.
• Exposure to databases, cloud services, or deployment workflows is a plus because it improves your ability to follow features through production.
