About the Company
Binding Minds is a mission-driven workforce solutions company helping organizations build stronger, more inclusive teams. We connect employers with capable professionals through recruitment, staffing, HR support, and practical workforce programs designed around business needs. Our work is grounded in the belief that access to opportunity should be broader, more equitable, and more effective for both employers and candidates. As a certified Disability-Owned Business Enterprise, we bring a clear inclusion lens to the way talent systems are designed and delivered. Our team operates at the intersection of people, process, and technology, creating solutions that improve hiring access, workforce readiness, and long-term employment outcomes. In this role, you will help shape B2C digital experiences that make our services easier to discover, understand, and use. You will work with business, engineering, operations, and customer-facing teams to turn user needs into products that improve conversion, trust, and measurable workforce impact.
About the Role
As Technical Product Manager, you will own the roadmap and delivery of B2C products that help users discover, evaluate, and access workforce services. You will translate customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints into focused product decisions. Through research, analytics, experimentation, and disciplined delivery practices, you will improve user activation, engagement, conversion, and retention. You will partner with engineering and design to define scalable experiences, manage trade-offs, and maintain a reliable delivery cadence. Success means shipping products that customers can use with confidence while improving operational efficiency and measurable business performance. This is a hands-on role for a product leader who can move between strategy and execution, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and create alignment around outcomes rather than activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the B2C product roadmap through customer research, funnel analysis, stakeholder input, and business priorities, ensuring investments improve adoption, conversion, retention, or service efficiency.
- Define product vision, goals, requirements, and success measures, translating ambiguous customer and operational problems into clear decisions that engineering and design teams can execute.
- Partner with engineering, design, data, recruitment, and operations teams to deliver reliable product increments, manage dependencies, and resolve trade-offs without losing customer or business outcomes.
- Establish a continuous discovery and experimentation system using interviews, usability testing, analytics, and A/B testing to validate problems, reduce risk, and improve user experience.
- Use product metrics and customer feedback to diagnose friction across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and service journeys, then prioritize changes with the highest expected impact.
- Communicate roadmap choices, delivery status, risks, and results to senior stakeholders, creating transparency and accountability across technical and commercial functions.
- Build strong product operating rhythms, including backlog quality, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and post-launch measurement, so delivery translates into sustained business value.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong product management capability across discovery, roadmap planning, prioritization, requirements, delivery, launch, and post-launch optimization for customer-facing digital products.
- Technical fluency in APIs, data flows, system dependencies, analytics instrumentation, and platform constraints, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience with product analytics and experimentation tools, using metrics such as activation, conversion, retention, engagement, and funnel performance to guide decisions.
- Excellent customer research, problem framing, written communication, and stakeholder management skills, especially in environments with competing priorities and incomplete information.
- Practical knowledge of Agile product delivery, backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria, release planning, and cross-functional execution.
- Ability to connect product decisions to commercial outcomes, operational efficiency, accessibility, trust, and measurable customer value.
Additional Plus
- Experience building B2C marketplaces, recruitment platforms, HR technology, workforce services, or other products involving trust, matching, onboarding, or high-volume user journeys.
- Familiarity with SQL, event taxonomies, dashboard design, experimentation methods, and qualitative research practices that support independent product analysis.
- Experience designing inclusive and accessible digital experiences for diverse users, including people with disabilities or varied levels of digital confidence.
What You'll Bring
- You bring 5–8 years of product management experience, including ownership of customer-facing digital products from problem discovery through launch and measurable improvement.
- You combine strategic judgment with execution discipline, using customer evidence, product data, technical understanding, and commercial context to make clear prioritization decisions.
- You communicate with precision and empathy, creating alignment among engineering, design, operations, leadership, and customer-facing teams while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
- You are comfortable working in a B2C environment where user trust, simplicity, accessibility, and speed of learning directly influence adoption and retention.
- You understand how to define meaningful product metrics, establish instrumentation, interpret quantitative and qualitative signals, and turn insights into focused experiments or roadmap changes.
- You take ownership beyond the feature release, measuring whether the product solved the intended problem and adjusting the experience when evidence shows that it did not.
- You value inclusive design and bring a practical commitment to building products that expand access, reduce friction, and serve customers with different needs and abilities.
Why Join Us
Binding Minds offers the opportunity to build products with a direct connection to employment access, workforce participation, and customer outcomes. Your work will help people navigate services that can influence their next career opportunity while helping organizations operate more effectively. You will have meaningful ownership across strategy, discovery, delivery, and measurement rather than being limited to feature coordination. The role sits within a business where product decisions can improve both commercial performance and inclusion. You will collaborate with teams spanning technology, recruitment, staffing, HR support, and operations, giving you a broad view of how digital products create value across a workforce ecosystem. As a certified Disability-Owned Business Enterprise, the company brings an authentic perspective to accessibility and equitable opportunity. This is a strong fit for a product leader who wants technical depth, customer impact, and mission relevance in the same role.
What We Offer
- Meaningful product ownership in a B2C environment where improvements to user experience can directly influence access, conversion, retention, and workforce outcomes.
- Cross-functional exposure across technology, recruitment, staffing, HR support, and operations, with the opportunity to shape products connected to a broader workforce ecosystem.
- An inclusive mission and certified Disability-Owned Business Enterprise context, where accessibility and equitable opportunity are treated as important dimensions of business and product impact.
