About the Company

Binding Minds is a talent and recruitment organization that helps companies identify, engage, and hire capable professionals across business functions. Our work connects employers with relevant talent while creating structured, responsive experiences for candidates and hiring teams. We value disciplined execution, clear communication, and relationship-led growth. The sales team plays an important role in expanding our client network, understanding hiring needs, and creating qualified opportunities for recruitment solutions. As a growing organization, we provide an environment where early-career professionals can build practical skills in prospecting, discovery, business communication, and pipeline management. Team members are expected to take ownership of measurable outcomes, learn quickly from market feedback, and collaborate closely with recruiters and account stakeholders. This role offers direct exposure to B2B sales fundamentals and the opportunity to contribute to a growing recruitment business from its Bangalore office.

About the Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will own the top of Binding Minds’ client acquisition funnel. Through research, outbound outreach, inbound follow-up, and CRM management, you will identify organizations with relevant hiring needs and convert early conversations into qualified meetings for the sales or recruitment team. Your impact will be measured by the quality and consistency of pipeline created, not simply by call volume. You will learn to understand prospect priorities, communicate the value of recruitment services, handle initial objections, and maintain disciplined follow-through. The role suits someone who is energetic, curious, coachable, and comfortable working toward clear targets from our Bangalore office. You will receive support while building practical capability in business development, consultative communication, and pipeline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research target companies, decision-makers, and hiring signals using defined tools and sources, creating focused prospect lists that improve outreach relevance and increase qualified conversations.
  • Execute outbound calls, emails, and professional-network outreach against agreed activity and conversion goals, turning consistent prospecting into measurable pipeline for the commercial team.
  • Respond promptly to inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads, qualifying business need, hiring context, urgency, and fit before scheduling productive conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations that uncover recruitment challenges, role volumes, decision processes, and timing, giving account teams the insight required to shape relevant follow-up.
  • Maintain complete, accurate CRM records covering contact details, conversation notes, next actions, lead stages, and outcomes, ensuring forecasting and handoffs remain reliable.
  • Coordinate qualified meetings with sales and recruitment colleagues, transferring context clearly so prospects receive timely follow-up and opportunities progress without avoidable information loss.
  • Review outreach performance with managers, test messaging and channels, and apply feedback to improve connect rates, qualification quality, and contribution to revenue-generating pipeline.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong verbal and written communication with the confidence to initiate professional conversations, ask focused questions, explain value clearly, and adapt messaging to different business stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of prospecting, lead qualification, objection handling, follow-up, and sales-funnel stages, with the discipline to work consistently toward measurable activity and conversion goals.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, spreadsheets, email, web research, and professional networking platforms, with the accuracy to maintain dependable records and manage multiple follow-up commitments.

Additional Plus

  • Prior internship, campus sales experience, recruitment exposure, customer-facing work, or business development experience that demonstrates ownership of targets and professional communication.
  • Familiarity with B2B services, staffing, talent acquisition, or consultative selling, helping you connect prospect hiring challenges with relevant recruitment conversations.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, lead databases, sales engagement tools, or reporting dashboards to organize outreach, monitor funnel movement, and learn from performance data.

What You'll Bring

  • You will bring curiosity about businesses and people, along with the persistence to create conversations where no immediate opportunity is visible. You can communicate professionally with prospects, listen for underlying hiring needs, and explain a service clearly without relying on a scripted pitch.
  • You take ownership of follow-ups and understand that accurate CRM updates protect both customer experience and team performance. You are comfortable receiving coaching, reviewing activity data, and changing your approach when evidence shows a better path.
  • You can manage routine work with consistency while maintaining energy across calls, emails, research, and meetings. You will be dependable in a target-driven Bangalore office environment and collaborate respectfully with sales, recruitment, and account colleagues.
  • A practical, growth-oriented mindset matters more than having a long track record. We are looking for someone who wants to develop strong B2B sales fundamentals, contribute qualified pipeline, and build credibility through preparation, responsiveness, and measurable execution.

Why Join Us

  • Build foundational B2B sales capability through direct ownership of prospecting, qualification, messaging, and pipeline outcomes within a recruitment-focused business.
  • Work closely with experienced sales, recruitment, and account professionals, gaining practical exposure to client needs, hiring markets, commercial conversations, and opportunity progression.
  • See the business impact of your work clearly, as qualified conversations help employers access talent and create opportunities for Binding Minds’ wider delivery teams.
