About the Company

We are building an AI-powered personal finance platform designed to help people make smarter decisions with their money. The company brings together technology, financial insight, and practical decision support to address a real and recurring need: helping users understand their choices and act with greater confidence. As the business grows, the Founder’s Office plays a central role in converting important questions into clear priorities, rigorous plans, and measurable outcomes. This is an opportunity to contribute close to the company’s most consequential decisions while working across functions and problem areas. The Strategy Manager will help strengthen the operating cadence behind a mission-led financial technology business, connecting analysis with execution and ensuring that strategic intent translates into progress. You will work in an environment where the quality of thinking, speed of learning, and ability to align teams directly influence how effectively the platform serves its users and builds durable business momentum.

About the Role

As Strategy Manager in the Founder’s Office, you will own high-priority strategic workstreams from problem definition through execution and measurable business impact. You will partner with the Founder and senior leaders to structure ambiguous questions, develop decision-ready analysis, and turn conclusions into coordinated action. The role combines business strategy, operating problem-solving, and cross-functional program leadership. Success means creating clarity where priorities compete, moving important initiatives forward, and building the systems, metrics, and follow-through needed to sustain results. You will work across the organization, connect teams around shared outcomes, and surface risks before they slow execution. This role is suited to an operator who can move comfortably between detailed analysis and senior-level communication, and who is motivated by the opportunity to shape a growing AI-powered personal finance platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own strategic initiatives sponsored by the Founder, defining objectives, milestones, decision rights, and success metrics so complex priorities translate into accountable execution and measurable business outcomes.
  • Structure ambiguous business questions through market, customer, financial, and operational analysis, producing concise recommendations that improve the quality and speed of leadership decisions.
  • Build operating mechanisms for priority initiatives, including review cadences, dashboards, issue logs, and escalation paths that keep cross-functional teams aligned and expose delivery risks early.
  • Partner with functional leaders to translate strategy into executable plans, resolve dependencies, and maintain momentum across initiatives spanning product, growth, operations, finance, and technology.
  • Prepare leadership materials, investment cases, and performance updates that connect evidence, trade-offs, and actions, enabling the Founder and senior team to make informed choices.
  • Track initiative performance against agreed outcomes, diagnose variance, and recommend course corrections that protect business impact rather than merely reporting activity.
  • Identify repeatable processes and decision frameworks that improve organizational leverage, institutionalize learning, and help the company scale its execution discipline.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong problem structuring, quantitative analysis, and business judgment, with the ability to move from incomplete information to clear recommendations and practical execution plans.
  • Proven cross-functional program leadership and stakeholder management, including the ability to create alignment, manage dependencies, and influence senior decision-makers without relying on formal authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience developing executive narratives, operating reviews, financial analyses, and decision materials that make complex issues easy to act upon.
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation tools; comfort working with data, dashboards, and analytical systems to monitor performance and support fact-based decisions.
  • Working understanding of digital products, technology businesses, or financial services, with curiosity about how AI can improve personal financial decision-making.

Additional Plus

  • Experience in a strategy, consulting, business operations, investment banking, venture capital, or Founder’s Office role within a high-growth company.
  • Exposure to consumer fintech, personal finance, AI-enabled products, or regulated financial services, with an ability to connect user needs to commercial and operating outcomes.
  • Experience building planning processes, management dashboards, or cross-functional operating rhythms that have improved execution quality at scale.

What You'll Bring

  • You bring at least 2 years of experience in strategy, consulting, business operations, finance, product strategy, or a similarly analytical and execution-oriented role. Exceptional candidates with less experience will also be considered when they demonstrate unusual ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to deliver meaningful outcomes.
  • You are comfortable taking ownership of an undefined problem, decomposing it into a clear structure, and driving the work toward a decision or outcome. You combine analytical depth with commercial judgment: you know when more analysis is needed and when the organization needs a clear recommendation and decisive action.
  • You can work directly with founders and senior leaders while remaining effective with functional teams responsible for delivery. You communicate with precision, write clearly, and tailor your message to the audience, whether presenting a concise leadership recommendation or aligning a team around next steps.
  • You are highly organized, reliable with follow-through, and able to manage several priorities without losing sight of impact. You bring intellectual curiosity about AI, technology, and personal finance, along with the humility to learn quickly.
  • Most importantly, you are motivated by ownership: you measure your effectiveness by the decisions improved, initiatives advanced, and business outcomes delivered.

  • Help build a company focused on enabling people to make smarter decisions with their money, applying rigorous thinking to a meaningful and practical user problem.
