About the Company

We are a global, technology-led organization based in Austin that depends on reliable internal IT support to keep employees productive and business operations stable. Our environment values practical problem-solving, accountability, and steady execution across users, vendors, and internal systems. The business needs a hands-on support function that can resolve issues quickly, maintain secure access, and keep day-to-day services running smoothly. This role sits in a structured setting where service quality, responsiveness, and follow-through matter. It is a good fit for someone who enjoys direct ownership of support outcomes and wants to contribute to dependable operations in a fast-moving workplace.

About the Role

This role owns day-to-day end-user IT support and service continuity across desktops, laptops, printers, business applications, and core connectivity issues. The goal is to keep employees productive by resolving incidents quickly, maintaining accurate asset records, coordinating vendor support, and supporting secure access to business systems. Success depends on systematic troubleshooting, clear communication, and disciplined follow-through across users, service providers, and internal teams. The role also supports Microsoft 365 usage, account administration, and basic security practices so the organization can rely on stable, well-managed IT services without interruption. This is a hands-on position for someone who is customer-focused, technically capable, and consistent in routine service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and business applications so employees can keep working with minimal disruption and faster issue resolution.- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP to restore service quickly and reduce repeat incidents.- Maintain IT asset inventory, allocation records, and lifecycle tracking so equipment usage, accountability, and replacement planning remain accurate.- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, warranty claims, and service requests so external dependencies do not slow down support delivery.- Support Microsoft 365 applications and general IT operations so users can work reliably across core collaboration and productivity tools.- Assist with user account management and basic IT security practices so access remains controlled and the environment stays operationally safe.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong end-user support and computer management skills are needed to diagnose common issues, explain solutions clearly, and keep support interactions efficient and professional.- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi, is required to isolate connectivity problems and restore access.- Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration is important for managing day-to-day productivity tools and standard user environments.- IT asset management capability is needed to track devices, ownership, allocation status, and lifecycle changes with accuracy and discipline.- Vendor management skills are required to coordinate repairs, procurement, warranty claims, and service requests without losing speed or accountability.- Hardware and software troubleshooting ability is essential for resolving incidents across endpoints, applications, and routine workplace technology.

Additional Plus

  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or CCNA would strengthen the candidate’s ability to support infrastructure and user services.- Prior experience in a fast-moving support environment would be valuable where response speed, prioritization, and clear communication matter every day.

What You'll Bring

  • A customer-focused approach that treats every support issue as a business continuity problem, not just a technical ticket.- The ability to troubleshoot systematically, communicate clearly, and close issues with minimal escalation.- Discipline in maintaining assets, records, and follow-through so the support function remains reliable and auditable.- Comfort working across users, vendors, and internal teams to keep services running smoothly.
