About the Company
Binding Minds Inc. delivers inclusive, high-quality workforce solutions that help organizations build diverse and high-performing teams. The company is a certified Disability-Owned Business Enterprise with a strong focus on disability inclusion, diverse workforce solutions, and inclusive hiring. Its centralized recruiting and delivery model supports contingent and permanent hiring across multiple industries, requiring adaptability, professionalism, resilience, and strong stakeholder partnership. For this role, Binding Minds supports an autism-centre environment where clinical quality, family trust, accessibility, and consistent care delivery are central to outcomes. The organization values workforce excellence and believes inclusive practices strengthen both individual opportunity and business performance. Joining this team means contributing to a service environment where clinical expertise is connected to meaningful developmental progress, better family experiences, and accessible support. The Gurugram team works with a practical, people-first mindset and values professionals who can bring sound judgement, empathy, documentation discipline, and leadership potential to a growing care operation.
About the Role
The Clinical Psychologist will own the quality and continuity of psychological assessment and intervention for children with autism at the Gurugram centre. Through evidence-informed evaluation, individualized therapy planning, caregiver guidance, and structured progress tracking, the role will translate clinical insight into measurable developmental and behavioural outcomes. The psychologist will partner with multidisciplinary colleagues, communicate clearly with families, and maintain accurate clinical records that support safe, consistent care. Success means children receive appropriate, respectful support; caregivers understand the intervention pathway; and the centre can demonstrate progress through reliable documentation and outcome review. The role requires sound clinical judgement, emotional maturity, ethical practice, and the ability to adapt communication and interventions to each child’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own psychological assessments using appropriate clinical tools, translating findings into clear formulations and individualized intervention plans that guide effective autism support and improve developmental outcomes.
- Deliver structured, evidence-informed psychological interventions for children with autism, adapting goals and techniques to developmental level, communication needs, behaviour patterns, and family context.
- Lead caregiver consultations and guidance sessions, converting clinical observations into practical home strategies that strengthen consistency, caregiver confidence, and carryover beyond the centre.
- Maintain complete, timely clinical documentation, progress notes, treatment reviews, and outcome records through approved systems to support continuity of care, ethical practice, and service quality.
- Coordinate with speech, occupational, behavioural, educational, and centre teams to align care plans, resolve barriers, and provide an integrated experience for children and families.
- Monitor developmental and behavioural progress against agreed goals, using evidence from sessions and reviews to refine interventions and communicate meaningful outcomes to stakeholders.
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, informed consent, professional ethics, and inclusive care standards so every child and family receives safe, respectful, and accessible clinical support.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Postgraduate Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology or Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, with professional eligibility and practice aligned to applicable Indian clinical regulations and centre requirements.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in autism assessment, developmental psychology, behavioural concerns, child counselling, and caregiver work, supported by strong formulation, intervention planning, and review skills.
- Proficiency with psychological assessment tools, clinical documentation, progress tracking, case conceptualization, and structured reporting that help multidisciplinary teams make consistent care decisions.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-informed autism interventions, developmental milestones, neurodiversity-affirming practice, positive behaviour support, and ethical approaches to working with children and families.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills across caregivers and multidisciplinary professionals, with the emotional steadiness to manage complex needs, sensitive conversations, and changing priorities.
- Comfortable using digital documentation, scheduling, and communication systems to maintain accurate records, protect confidentiality, and support reliable clinical operations.
Additional Plus
- Experience working in an autism centre, child development clinic, special education setting, or multidisciplinary paediatric care environment would strengthen fit for the role.
- Exposure to parent training, group interventions, school collaboration, functional behaviour assessment, or outcome measurement would help extend the centre’s support beyond individual sessions.
- Familiarity with Hindi or other locally relevant languages would support more accessible communication with children, caregivers, and community stakeholders in the Gurugram service environment.
What You'll Bring
- A postgraduate Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology or Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, with the professional eligibility, ethical grounding, and clinical discipline required to support children with autism safely and effectively.
- Three to five years of relevant experience applying assessment, formulation, intervention, caregiver guidance, and progress review skills in child, developmental, behavioural, or related clinical settings.
- A child-centred and family-sensitive approach, combining empathy with structured clinical reasoning so recommendations remain practical, respectful, measurable, and responsive to each child’s developmental profile.
- Strong ownership of documentation, collaboration, communication, and follow-through, with the resilience and adaptability to contribute to a growing centre while maintaining consistent standards of care.
Why Join Us
At Binding Minds, this role connects clinical expertise with a clear human outcome: helping children with autism and their families access thoughtful, consistent, and inclusive support. You will have the opportunity to shape care quality through assessment, intervention planning, caregiver partnership, and disciplined progress tracking rather than working in isolation. The role gives you meaningful ownership of clinical outcomes within an autism-centre environment, while encouraging collaboration across professional disciplines. You will work with colleagues who value accessibility, inclusion, professionalism, and workforce excellence, and whose work reflects the organization’s identity as a certified Disability-Owned Business Enterprise. Your judgement will matter in how children are supported, how families understand next steps, and how the centre learns from outcomes over time. This is an opportunity to build depth in autism-focused practice, contribute to a respectful care culture, and grow your influence as a clinical professional while helping create better developmental and family experiences in the Gurugram community.
What We Offer
- Meaningful clinical ownership in an autism-centre environment where your assessments, interventions, and caregiver partnerships directly influence children’s developmental progress and family confidence.
- A collaborative, inclusive workplace that values accessibility, multidisciplinary practice, professional growth, and respectful support for children, families, and colleagues.
- Competitive compensation with the opportunity to contribute to a growing service operation and strengthen your expertise in autism-focused clinical care.
