About the Company
Binding Minds is a workforce solutions company focused on helping organizations build diverse, high-performing teams through inclusive hiring and delivery excellence. The organization supports both contingent and permanent hiring across multiple industries, with a centralized recruiting and delivery model designed to improve speed, quality, and consistency. Its mission is rooted in building access, inclusion, and workforce performance, and it serves clients with a practical, service-led approach. For this role, the company is hiring into a security-focused function that supports assessment work and penetration testing. The role contributes to protecting client and internal systems by identifying vulnerabilities early, improving security posture, and helping teams act on clear technical findings. The organization values disciplined execution, collaboration, and outcomes that strengthen trust with stakeholders.
About the Role
This role owns security assessment support and penetration testing activities that help identify weaknesses before they become incidents. The analyst will work across testing, validation, documentation, and follow-through so findings are clear, actionable, and useful to technical and business stakeholders. The position requires a practical mindset, the ability to work with security tools and testing methods, and the discipline to translate technical issues into remediation priorities. Success in the role means improving visibility into risk, supporting better security decisions, and strengthening the organization’s ability to protect systems and data. The work is hands-on, analytical, and outcome-driven, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, judgment, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Own security assessment and penetration testing support across agreed systems and environments, turning technical observations into findings that help reduce exposure and improve remediation focus.
- Execute vulnerability validation and controlled testing workflows with care for scope, evidence, and documentation so stakeholders can trust the results and act quickly.
- Translate test outcomes into clear reports and remediation guidance that help engineering and operations teams prioritize the highest-risk issues first.
- Coordinate with internal teams to confirm scope, align on testing windows, and keep assessments moving without unnecessary disruption to business operations.
- Track open findings through closure, using disciplined follow-up to improve accountability, shorten exposure time, and strengthen overall security posture.
- Support continuous improvement of assessment methods, test quality, and reporting standards so the organization gets more value from each security review.
- Maintain strong awareness of technical risks, attack paths, and control gaps so the team can surface issues early and reduce the chance of avoidable incidents.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Working knowledge of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment methods, with the ability to apply them in controlled environments and document results clearly.
- Familiarity with common security tools, scanning approaches, and validation techniques used to identify exploitable weaknesses and confirm risk levels.
- Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and web application fundamentals so findings are accurate, context-aware, and technically sound.
- Ability to write clear reports and remediation notes that help technical teams understand impact, urgency, and next steps without ambiguity.
- Practical experience with security review workflows, issue tracking, and follow-up processes that keep assessments moving to closure.
- Good judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills to work effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and security leads.
- Ability to manage multiple assessment tasks at once while staying disciplined on scope, evidence quality, and delivery timelines.
Additional Plus
- Hands-on exposure to red team, offensive security, or application security work is a strong advantage because it deepens the ability to spot real-world risk patterns.
- Certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or equivalent practical security credentials are helpful for validating baseline knowledge and testing discipline.
- Experience in consulting or client-facing environments is a plus because it strengthens communication, adaptability, and delivery across multiple stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
- A structured approach to identifying risk, validating findings, and turning technical results into actions that improve security outcomes.
- The ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners so testing results lead to fast, informed remediation.
- A detail-oriented mindset that protects testing quality, evidence integrity, and accuracy under time-sensitive conditions.
- Ownership and follow-through that keep findings moving toward closure and strengthen trust in the security function.
