About the Company

testing_1 is a very small banking company based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, with a lean team and a focused operating model. The organization’s size and location suggest a tight, hands-on environment where senior people need to own outcomes, move quickly, and make practical decisions. Its public-facing footprint includes a website presence and a simple company vision, which points to an early-stage business still building structure, consistency, and market clarity. For the right consultant, that creates a chance to influence how work is prioritized, how clients are served, and how internal processes are strengthened as the company grows.

About the Role

The Senior Consultant will own high-impact problem solving across client and business priorities, turning ambiguity into clear recommendations and practical execution. The role is designed for someone who can work directly with stakeholders, identify what matters most, and help shape decisions that improve performance and reduce friction. Success will depend on combining structured thinking with commercial judgment, so the role can create measurable impact without heavy supervision. This is a hands-on senior position where credibility, speed, and strong communication matter as much as domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own complex consulting work from problem framing through recommendation, ensuring stakeholders get clear direction that improves business decisions and delivery outcomes.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into structured analyses, practical options, and action plans that the team can execute without unnecessary delay.
  • Work closely with internal leaders and external stakeholders to align priorities, remove blockers, and keep work focused on measurable impact.
  • Build simple, decision-ready materials that communicate risks, trade-offs, and next steps in a way that senior stakeholders can act on quickly.
  • Track progress against agreed goals, surface issues early, and help the business stay on course through disciplined follow-up and course correction.
  • Contribute to process improvement and operating clarity so the organization can scale work with less rework, better ownership, and stronger accountability.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong consulting and advisory mindset with the ability to structure problems, synthesize information, and recommend clear, business-relevant actions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build trust, challenge assumptions respectfully, and influence decisions across different levels.
  • Strong analytical ability with comfort working through data, business context, and operational constraints to identify what drives outcomes.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to produce concise updates, executive-ready narratives, and practical recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a small, fast-moving environment where ownership, adaptability, and follow-through matter.
  • Commercial awareness and judgment to balance client needs, internal capacity, and business goals when shaping solutions.

Additional Plus

  • Experience in banking or other regulated environments is a strong advantage because it shortens the learning curve and improves decision quality.
  • Exposure to early-stage or small-team environments is helpful because the role requires comfort with limited structure and broad ownership.
  • Prior work in process improvement, operating model design, or client advisory roles would strengthen effectiveness from day one.

What You'll Bring

  • A track record of solving complex problems with limited direction and turning analysis into decisions that move the business forward.
  • The confidence to engage senior stakeholders, ask the right questions, and keep discussions focused on outcomes rather than activity.
  • A practical, ownership-first approach that helps a small team execute with more clarity, speed, and accountability.
  • Strong judgment, communication, and follow-through that make your recommendations credible and useful in a fast-moving setting.
