About the Company

Sitaara Housing Finance Limited provides home loans and loans against property to customers in the affordable housing segment. The company is focused on expanding access to secured finance for individuals and families who may be underserved by traditional lending institutions. By combining customer understanding, disciplined credit processes, and strong local market relationships, Sitaara works to convert genuine housing and property-finance needs into responsibly processed loan opportunities. The business depends on high-quality sourcing, complete documentation, accurate customer information, and close coordination between field teams and credit operations. This role contributes directly to that mission by building a reliable sourcing network across markets, educating customers and partners, and ensuring files reach credit with the clarity required for timely evaluation. Employees operate in a customer-facing environment where ownership, ethical selling, responsiveness, and process discipline are essential to sustainable portfolio growth. The company offers an opportunity to build meaningful expertise in affordable housing finance while contributing to broader financial inclusion across India.

About the Role

As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will own the sourcing and progression of quality home-loan and loan-against-property applications in your assigned market. You will build productive relationships with DSAs and channel partners, identify eligible customers, conduct field meetings, collect and validate documents, and provide complete information to the credit team. Your work will directly influence business growth, file quality, turnaround time, and customer experience. This is an on-site, field-sales role requiring frequent travel across the local market and disciplined follow-up throughout the application journey. You will be expected to balance monthly business targets with responsible sourcing practices, ensuring that submitted files meet policy and documentation requirements. The role suits a hands-on sales professional who understands affordable housing finance, can build trust with varied stakeholders, and takes ownership from lead generation through credit processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source quality home-loan and loan-against-property applications through direct customer engagement, local market coverage, and referrals, improving sustainable disbursement potential rather than pursuing unqualified volumes.
  • Develop and manage relationships with DSAs, connectors, builders, brokers, and other channel partners, using regular engagement and market intelligence to build a dependable sourcing pipeline.
  • Meet prospective customers at their homes, workplaces, and properties, understand their financial needs, and explain suitable loan products, eligibility, documentation, and process expectations clearly.
  • Collect, verify, and organize customer, income, identity, property, and business documents, reducing avoidable deficiencies and enabling the credit team to evaluate files efficiently.
  • Coordinate with credit and operations teams by sharing accurate customer information, responding to queries, and resolving documentation gaps, improving file turnaround time and decision quality.
  • Track leads, applications, sanctions, and disbursements through internal systems and structured follow-up, maintaining visibility of pipeline movement and delivering assigned business targets responsibly.
  • Monitor competitor activity, customer feedback, and local housing-finance trends, converting market insights into better partner coverage, customer acquisition, and product communication.
  • Follow company policies, regulatory expectations, and ethical sales practices in every interaction, protecting portfolio quality, customer trust, and the organization’s long-term business outcomes.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • At least three years of relevant experience in affordable housing finance, home loans, loan against property, or related secured-lending field sales, with evidence of consistent sourcing performance.
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, DSA and channel-partner management, document collection, basic credit requirements, and the end-to-end loan-processing journey.
  • Comfortable using mobile applications, CRM or lead-tracking systems, spreadsheets, and standard office tools to record activity, manage follow-ups, and maintain accurate file information.

Additional Plus

  • Existing relationships with DSAs, property brokers, builders, connectors, or local business communities can accelerate market productivity and partner-led sourcing.
  • Experience handling self-employed, informal-income, or first-time homebuyer customers in the affordable housing segment will help improve customer qualification and file quality.
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory will support consistent customer and partner coverage.

What You'll Bring

  • You bring at least three years of relevant field-sales experience in housing finance, loan against property, secured lending, or a closely related financial-services environment.
  • You are comfortable creating business through personal meetings, market visits, referrals, and partner networks, while maintaining a disciplined focus on customer suitability and application quality.
  • You can understand customer profiles, identify documentation requirements, collect accurate information, and present complete files that help credit teams make timely, well-informed decisions.
  • You communicate confidently with customers, DSAs, channel partners, credit teams, and operations colleagues, adapting your approach while keeping commitments, follow-ups, and escalation points visible.
  • You are organized enough to manage multiple applications at different stages, use digital tools for tracking, and close gaps without losing ownership of the customer experience.
  • You demonstrate ethical judgment, persistence, local-market awareness, and the resilience required for frequent travel, target-based work, and relationship-led business development.
  • You are willing to work on-site across the assigned market and take responsibility for outcomes from first contact through file submission, sanction coordination, and disbursement follow-up.
