About the Company
Gunjit_testing is a small organization operating in the banking industry, with its headquarters in Navi Mumbai and an additional presence in Bengaluru. The company is building its marketing capability around a focused team that can connect market understanding, customer needs, and commercial priorities. This role offers the opportunity to shape how the organization presents its value, reaches relevant audiences, and turns marketing investment into measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with business stakeholders to establish clear priorities, create consistent market communication, and strengthen the systems used to plan, execute, and evaluate marketing work. The environment is suited to a hands-on senior marketing leader who can bring structure without unnecessary complexity, make decisions using evidence, and build momentum across channels. The role is based in Navi Mumbai and follows a hybrid working model, with collaboration across the company’s locations and teams.
About the Role
The Senior Marketing Manager will own the marketing strategy and operating rhythm for a banking-focused organization. This role turns business priorities into clear positioning, demand programs, content, campaigns, and performance measurement. You will define the marketing roadmap, prioritize channels, and establish reporting that helps leaders understand what is working and where investment should change. Success means stronger market visibility, better-quality opportunities, consistent customer communication, and a repeatable marketing system that supports growth. The role requires strategic judgment and hands-on execution, with close collaboration across leadership, sales, product, and external partners. You will be expected to build clarity from incomplete information, improve decision speed, and connect marketing activity directly to commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the integrated marketing strategy and quarterly roadmap, translating business priorities into channel plans, campaigns, and measurable outcomes that improve market reach and qualified demand.
- Establish a performance management system covering funnel metrics, campaign effectiveness, acquisition costs, and conversion quality so leadership can allocate marketing investment with confidence.
- Lead positioning, messaging, and content direction across priority audiences, ensuring the organization communicates a clear and differentiated value proposition in the banking market.
- Build and manage demand-generation programs across relevant digital and offline channels, improving campaign discipline, lead quality, and progression through the commercial funnel.
- Partner with sales and business leaders to align account priorities, handoff processes, and feedback loops, increasing marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Own the marketing budget, agency relationships, and delivery standards, balancing speed, quality, and cost while maintaining reliable execution against agreed priorities.
- Develop the marketing team’s operating cadence, including planning, reviews, documentation, and experimentation, so learning is captured and successful approaches can be scaled.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong marketing strategy and go-to-market planning skills, with the ability to connect customer insight, positioning, channel choices, and commercial goals into one operating plan.
- Proven experience managing integrated campaigns across digital channels, content, events, partnerships, and performance marketing, with clear ownership of measurable funnel outcomes.
- Advanced understanding of marketing analytics, attribution, dashboards, and reporting tools, using data to diagnose performance, improve conversion, and guide investment decisions.
- Hands-on capability with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, advertising, and content management platforms, including the discipline to maintain clean processes and reliable data.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, translating business needs into focused briefs, clear delivery standards, and accountable execution across internal and external teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex banking propositions into compelling messaging for customers, partners, and commercial teams.
Additional Plus
- Experience marketing banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated products, with an understanding of trust, compliance, and customer decision considerations.
- Experience building a marketing function, operating model, or team in a growing organization where priorities, processes, and measurement need to be established.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing, lifecycle programs, customer research, or experimentation frameworks that improve relevance and long-term engagement.
What You'll Bring
- 7–10 years of progressive marketing experience, including ownership of strategy, integrated campaigns, budgets, performance reporting, and cross-functional commercial outcomes.
- A demonstrated record of turning business objectives into focused marketing programs that improve awareness, demand quality, customer engagement, or revenue contribution.
- Strong commercial judgment and analytical discipline, using evidence to prioritize work, challenge assumptions, explain trade-offs, and improve the return on marketing investment.
- The ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on builder, creating structure, raising execution standards, and bringing stakeholders together around measurable outcomes.
Why Join Us
This role gives you meaningful ownership of how a banking-focused organization builds visibility, trust, and demand in the market. You will not simply manage campaigns; you will shape the marketing system that connects business priorities to customer understanding, clear communication, and measurable commercial progress. It is a strong opportunity for a senior marketer who enjoys accountability, values evidence over activity, and wants to see the visible business impact of the systems and programs they create.
