About the Company
We are a small, fast-moving team based in Gurgaon, India, building products and services in the Artificial Intelligence space. As a lean organization, we value ownership, speed, and clear execution. The team works closely across functions to turn market interest into real business opportunities, and this role supports that growth by helping create and convert qualified sales conversations. Because the company is small, every hire has visible impact, and this position will contribute directly to revenue generation, customer relationships, and pipeline health. We are looking for someone who is comfortable learning quickly, representing the business professionally, and helping the team stay organized as opportunities move from outreach to close.
About the Role
This role owns the early stages of the sales funnel and helps convert interest into qualified opportunities. You will support outreach, follow-up, lead qualification, and meeting coordination while keeping the pipeline accurate and moving. The position is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build strong fundamentals in selling, customer communication, and commercial discipline. Success in this role comes from consistent activity, careful follow-through, and the ability to represent the company well in every interaction. You will work closely with the wider team to make sure prospects receive timely responses and that promising leads are advanced efficiently toward conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a steady flow of outbound and inbound prospect conversations so the pipeline stays active and the team has a reliable base of qualified opportunities.
- Qualify leads against basic business-fit criteria, ensuring sales effort is focused on prospects with genuine potential to move forward and create revenue.
- Follow up with prospects in a disciplined way, reducing drop-off between first contact, discovery, and next steps so opportunities do not stall.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate handoffs so the sales process stays organized, timely, and easy for the wider team to execute.
- Keep CRM entries current and accurate, giving leadership clean visibility into pipeline status, next actions, and conversion progress.
- Support proposal and information-sharing tasks as needed, helping prospects get what they need to make decisions without slowing the sales cycle.
- Represent the company professionally in every call, message, and meeting so trust builds early and conversion chances improve.
Essential Skills & Technologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain ideas clearly, ask good questions, and maintain professional follow-up with prospects.
- Comfort with CRM tools and basic sales tracking, so pipeline information stays organized, current, and useful for decision-making.
- Good listening and qualification skills, allowing you to identify real buyer interest and separate serious opportunities from low-fit leads.
- Strong time management and task discipline, helping you balance outreach, follow-ups, meeting coordination, and administrative accuracy.
- Basic commercial awareness and curiosity about customer needs, so conversations stay relevant and support revenue growth.
- Confidence, persistence, and a positive attitude in customer-facing situations, especially when handling objections or delayed responses.
Additional Plus
- Prior internship, campus, or entry-level experience in sales, business development, customer support, or lead generation.
- Familiarity with AI, software, or B2B solutions, which can help you speak more confidently with prospects.
- Exposure to target-driven roles where performance was measured through activity, follow-up quality, or conversion outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- A willingness to learn quickly and apply feedback, so you can grow from a junior role into a dependable contributor.
- A structured approach to follow-up and tracking, helping the team keep opportunities moving and avoid lost leads.
- Professional communication habits and a customer-first mindset, so every interaction supports trust and conversion.
- The ability to stay consistent under routine pressure, because sales success depends on reliability as much as energy.
Why Join Us
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a practical sales career in a small, hands-on team. You will not be isolated in a narrow task list; instead, you will see how outreach, qualification, follow-up, and coordination connect to revenue. You will gain exposure to real customer conversations, pipeline discipline, and the commercial side of an Artificial Intelligence business. If you want a role where learning, ownership, and day-to-day execution matter, this position gives you a direct path to grow.
