About the Company

testing_1 is a small banking company based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, with a compact team and an early-stage operating footprint. The business sits in the Banking industry and is positioned with room to build stronger market presence, tighten commercial execution, and deepen customer relationships. The company’s stated vision is simple and direct, and its scale suggests a hands-on environment where leaders need to create clarity, discipline, and measurable growth. With headquarters in Bengaluru and additional Bangalore references in its location profile, the organization appears centered in one primary market, making local sales leadership especially important.

About the Role

The Regional Head - Sales owns revenue growth across the assigned region and turns commercial targets into a repeatable execution system. The role is accountable for building pipeline, improving conversion, and ensuring the team focuses on the highest-value opportunities. It also requires strong market judgment, so priorities reflect where the business can win fastest. This leader will work closely with internal stakeholders to align territory plans, sales discipline, and customer coverage. Success depends on combining people leadership with rigorous sales management, so performance is visible in both numbers and team output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own regional revenue delivery by setting clear targets, tracking performance, and correcting course quickly when pipeline quality or conversion starts to weaken.
  • Build and manage a disciplined sales operating rhythm that improves forecast accuracy, prioritization, and accountability across the region.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the regional sales team so individual performance translates into stronger team output and more consistent target achievement.
  • Develop territory and account plans that focus effort on the most valuable prospects, faster deal cycles, and stronger customer relationships.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to remove execution blockers, align market strategy, and ensure the region has the support needed to close business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and customer needs so regional strategy stays relevant and commercial decisions reflect real demand.
  • Drive sales process adherence, high-quality pipeline hygiene, and regular review cadence to improve visibility and reduce execution risk.

Essential Skills & Technologies

  • Strong sales leadership experience with a track record of owning regional targets, improving team performance, and converting plans into revenue results.
  • Ability to build forecasting discipline, pipeline governance, and performance reviews that create clear visibility into what is driving growth or risk.
  • Commercial judgment to prioritize accounts, segment opportunities, and focus effort where conversion likelihood and business impact are highest.
  • People management capability that improves coaching quality, team confidence, and accountability without losing speed or ownership in the field.
  • Solid understanding of banking or financial services sales, including customer acquisition, relationship building, and enterprise or mid-market selling dynamics.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and sales reporting tools to manage pipeline health, activity patterns, and performance decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills that help align field execution with broader business goals.

Additional Plus

  • Prior experience leading sales across multiple territories or states with measurable growth in a regulated or relationship-driven industry.
  • Exposure to building new market coverage models or improving underperforming regions through sharper execution and better management cadence.
  • Familiarity with banking products, lending, deposits, or other financial services offerings that shape customer demand and sales motions.

What You'll Bring

  • A proven record of turning regional goals into execution plans that improve revenue, forecast discipline, and team accountability.
  • The ability to coach managers and sales contributors so performance lifts across the region, not just in isolated individuals.
  • Strong business judgment, clear communication, and the discipline to focus the team on outcomes that matter most.
  • A hands-on leadership style that balances strategy with day-to-day sales management and visible ownership of results.
